Came to this dump for the first time and definitely will never return. The egg rolls are tiny. The service is horrific. Our waiter was not very attentive. I had to wait over ten minutes after I asked for a glass of water to receive it. I asked for orange chicken not spicy and it came spicy with cold fried rice. It had to be remade. The waiter was definitely one of the worst I’ve ever had. Quite indifferent and didn’t follow what was ordered. My gf got stung by a wasp in the restaurant. Some guy comes out, possibly a manager with this cold bewildered bizarre look on his face saying he would kill the wasp which he never did. She was in so much pain and swelling. There were wasps and hornets flying around all over the restaurant. After what she went through, there was a coldness indifference and heartlessness in regards to her condition where her arm was red and swollen. I’ve never seen people who just don’t care. I asked if her meal could be taken care of and I was told no with an attitude and then agreed to take a few dollars off. States I can’t comp the meal but will take care of medical costs to go to the hospital which is beyond weird to say. In total, I’m as direct as it gets. DO NOT come eat here. The food isn’t that great, the service is terrible, the wasps and hornets are flying around so chances of getting stung are very high, and the nastiness and lack of heart and empathy for someone who got stung by a wasp in a restaurant establishment is beyond disgusting. Avoid this place at all costs. There’s way better Chinese food out there with staff who truly care about you and your experience.
We have an individual here everyone who’s clearly butt hurt because they got called out and put in the spotlight for their horrible service along with everything else I mentioned. Customers are allowed to Choose preference for where they’d like to sit. Tipping is a choice not a requirement and based off the awful service of your waiter and your rudeness and how you treated us of course there wasn’t going to be a tip. You’re ridiculous lol as it doesn’t matter how many tables a waiter has it’s not an excuse when something basic is asked for temperature of food to be hot and not spicy really simple so getting defensive won’t help. Wasps and hornets flying around your restaurant is unacceptable so that constitutes a health dept contact since you decided you want to go in that direction. Customers should not have to worry about coming to eat at a restaurant and getting stung by a wasp, that is YOUR fault nobody else. Wasps and other insects don’t come in and out of restaurants so relax there. If I was allergic to spicy food you’d have a major problem. What I was brought was inedible and people have food restrictions so being ignorant and defensive again makes you look even worse. When a guest has something so bad happen and you shrug your shoulders and a look of zero care or compassion being cold yes that’s a sign of very bad customer service. Zero concern shown whatsoever. Lol everyone here goes out to eat at restaurants that are way busier with servers that have tons of tables to take care of and there’s no issues in making sure customers food is hot and prepared as asked spicy or not. Making excuses makes you look worse. Finally, your reaction shows that you have major unresolved issues going on where you should seek help immediately. I’m Sure if it was your friend or family member or relative who got stung by one of the wasps flying around In your restaurant you’d have a very different reaction to what you showed with stone coldness indifference and a nastiness rudeness. Truth hurts doesn’t it? You’re just thinking you’d get away with this no way you just had two customers who decided that patrons should be well Aware of your horrible restaurant and your obvious attitude and disrespect towards guests. Again everyone avoid this place and spread the word. It’s horrible in every which way possible. And based on your flipping out and getting defensive with other customers with their poor reviews shows your...
Read moreI am editing this review to add… I came here to give an honest review of not only the quality of food, but the quality of this restaurant’s customer service. Instead of the Manager trying to make a dissatisfied customer happy, he gets on here and starts insulting me. I looked for a way to post a picture of the food I received, I could not find that option. The managers response to my review was nothing but insulting. But that makes perfect sense, as he obviously has little experience dealing with customers, and running a good restaurant. He did tell me that they have been in business here in Findlay for a very long time, and that is the way their customers like their food, burnt. No thank you. Previous review… I have eaten at Hunans many times, the food I got tonight was by far the worst food I have ever had. I wish I could take a photo of the burnt to a crisp chicken sticks. I had the food delivered through door dash. The food was delivered wonderfully. The problem was the food was not edible, it was burnt to a crisp! I called the restaurant to let them know that the food quality was bad. That they really need to check for good quality before it goes out. The girl in the phone said, hold on a minute. Someone was talking to her in the background. She then says, do you want to come back in for it. I said no I had it delivered. The other person said, well you will have to contact door dash for a refund. I said , didn’t ask for a refund. I called to let you know that you guys need to do better for your paying customers. The food you are sending out, is not edible! He says, ma’am that is how we make our chicken sticks and customers love them. I said, really you burn the food until your customers can’t even take a bite of it? I said, it is charred black! He said yep, that is how we have always made them. I have ordered the chicken sticks many times, never have they been charred! Very bad customer service… I will not be eating at Hunaans again. They don’t even...
Read moreFirst, your pan fried noodles even too hard to chew! You told me it will get more softer when the noodles absorb the sauce but it didn’t at all. I don’t even know how to describe it cause it’s neither dry enough to be crispy or soft enough to be chewed. I clearly know I only pay 13 dollars for it, so I shouldn’t have too high expectation, but my only expectation is that the noodles is chewable, I think it’s realistic enough.
Second, before I ordered it, I asked you what difference between lomain and pan fried noodles, and you told me the difference is the sauce that pan fried noodles has without mentioning any those words you said afterwards. So, one more time, you did NOT explain the order perfectly!
In addition, I didn’t request refund, instead, I asked you if I can exchange it with lomain because that was my birthday, so I wanted to get a Chinese noodles from a Chinese restaurant, and you are the only Chinese restaurant I can find in that area, but the owner said then I have to pay for exchanging, so I just gave up.
Besides, when I told you my problem, all you and your colleagues did was shirking responsibility right away and blame me for not understanding my order, talking about “not all the Chinese restaurant are same“ and with a very not nice attitude. I think at least I deserve an edible noodles and a sorry.
At last, don’t play those any mud throwing game. You said I gave other placeS one star review but the only reason why I gave another”Hu Nan garden” one star is that I thought it was you and I did it by accidentally. That was only ONCE and One place, and I will change it.
All in all, from my own experience, I think one star is all you deserve.
Also, the comments I gave bamboo restaurants was for you, so I’m gonna post it here again:
A perfect place for the Americans who want fake Chinese food. And it’s funny they call themselves “Chinese...
