Stay away and don't be scammed! I have had the nightmare of dealing with this company and their sales associate, Dallas. My daughter and I were given the deal to upgrade our phones with promotional credits back in May. Walked out with new phones happy. Our bill had slightly increased but no big deal. We had added a new line for our youngest so that was expected. Three months down the road I get frantic texts and voicemails from the associate, Dallas, that there was a mistake and that we may not get the promotional credit and will have to pay full price for the phones if the problem is not corrected. Against my better judgment, I allow Dallas to remotely enter my account and in the next month I see an increase of $125 on my monthly bill. I call the store and am told that it will be credited on the next bill. The next bill has an increase of $60. As I start to research and look into the details of my bill I see that the two phones, which we were told were basically free because of the promotional credit, each had a device payment for a total of about $60 per month for the next 36 months. I am now in month 3 of paying these devices and am getting nothing but no returned calls and the runaround from these con artists. When I called Verizon, not this Cellular Stores racquet, they told me that it looked like the phones had been given away, without a payment nor a promotional credit attached. I began to realize what happened. Dallas had made a mistake and Verizon came calling for their money and instead of honestly owning up to her error and taking care of it on her end, she proceeded to defraud me into making these device payments. Stay far, far, away from this place. If you want to do with Verizon, deal with them directly. And if you ever do shop at Cellular Sales in Fishers, do not let Dallas take care of you. You'll regret it and may find yourself in small claims court which is where...
Read moreI had a terrible experience with this store (the employees - the girl (especially) and the Mexican guy on Thursday April 27, 2023 at around 6.30pm to be exact). I complained about the data slowness for a new SIM card I bought from them 5 days ago and wanted to find out if there is anything they can do to fix it (maybe phone setting we need to change to match Verizon requirement or maybe other thing that we donât know about), but that girl just keep saying that I donât have data on that SIM card eventhough I only used 256MB out of 15GB - I think most people know how to check it, especially an employee of a cellular store. And I have said that âthe internet is working but just very slow and if I donât have data then the internet wonât work all togetherâ. She seems just do not understand that, sigh. I also said that it works just fine using Wifi at home or using the previous carrier with the same phone, but again she claims that I donât have data đ. I was also smiling myself when she asked what âKbpsâ is/for đ. She really does not know what she is doing as a cellular employee and really does not know how to serve the customers. The same with the Mexican guy, instead of to calm the situation down, he put more fuel. I am still wondering how they got customer-based jobs at the first place. One suggestion to the owner: find better employees (knowledgeable & customer-oriented person) before they screw more of...
Read moreI went in there yesterday because my battery was saying it had been âsignificantly degradedâ and I wanted to see what my options were BEFORE I need to get a new phone. The guy looked at my plan and told me that battery replacement was included in my device protection plan and that I could file a claim AND get it fixed for FREE. Of course when I do the claim, it tries to charge me for a new phone. I of course donât want to do that because I was told it was free so I got back in today after being bounced around from Verizon corporate to Asurion the insurance they use for the âdevice protectionâ plan. I tell them my situation AGAIN and they basically tell me to call Asurion again. After I pressed the manager, he finally tries to help me. The whole time he tries to persuade me to get a new phone and âtriesâ to get ahead of the insurance company. He basically gives up and tells me âyeah they arenât picking up because itâs 6 oâclock on a Friday, youâll probably have to call them again.â
AFTER all of this, I went to another store to see if they would tell me the same thing or actually help me. The guy was super informative and told me that it was never free with my plan. With my plan I would always have to pay the deductible. Thank GOODNESS, I went to another store and they set me straight because if it werenât for TJ down at the other store, I would be having strong negative feelings for...
