I would give zero stars if it was an option. I will never return to this location, the following story you can not make up. I came here with my two childdren, one age 7, the other six months old. We spent all day at a music festival and I figured it would be great to turn in the oldest child’s punchcard she had been working on to get a free happy meal. We placed her order no problem, then it was my turn… I originally asked for a specialty sandwich, the tomato mozzarella sandwich. They said they were out of tomatoes, and I said that was fine. My back up was to get a buttermilk tender meal. After it was rung through, the manager came over and explained to me that the chicken was thawing and that was not an option for me to get. I told him those were the only two things I was really interested in. I explained I was going to get the tomato mozzarella sandwich, but they were out of tomatoes. He told me a truck had just delivered tomatoes, and I could get that. It was rung through was a buttermilk tender, but I was given the tomato mozzarella sandwich. Another man brought my food out and apologized for the wait. I said there was no wait, and he said “oh, good“. Pretty sure that was premonition to this write up. As the seven-year-old was enjoying her happy meal, she reminded me she had asked for a ketchup. I returned to the counter… And guess what they didn’t have!? There was a manager there who was doing an all right job balancing the hood pandemonium in the kitchen, and the single white mom with condiment problems . He seemed to know what was going on in the kitchen, but other employees should as well. Eventually we got the ketchup, and then I realized there was only one honey mustard sauce in the bag for a six piece tender meal. My daughter got her sauce, that was all that mattered.... because at this point I’m super uncomfortable with the language happening around us. You can tell McDonald’s doesn’t get these punchcards often. It was something gifted to me from my grandmother, and I figured it was going to be a hassel which is why we were dine in customers ( I even got the thing punched six times, instead of five… Just to ensure that I would be able to get a free happy meal!) after my total was presented as 15 and change, I saw a decrease in dollar value time after time until I was given the total of nine and change. I was refunded six and change for some reason, but gladly took it because by this point I was concerned for the safety of my children. In the midst of having nothing I had hoped for, a fight ensued in the kitchen. There was lots of swearing and chaos. When asked to leave, one of the employees wound up across the table from my daughter. There was a point where I myself raised my voice, and said “shut up” because there was an insane amount of swearing going on (to which one actually acknowledged with an apology). I understand we are inner-city, but I think it’s completely ignorant to behave that way. Well the manager was helpful, it’s obviously too laid-back of an environment. There needs to be a major haul on this location, this is not my first incident over here. It is hood, ratchet, and I will never bring my children there again. This is a prime location for McDonald’s, I hope it gets an overhaul soon. If you don’t want “certain” people calling you certain names, you probably shouldn’t use them on each other. Call me ignorant! It’s bad enough my child has to attend the Fitchburg public school system, I don’t need her repeating the N-word because she overheard it at a McDonald’s. To be at the point to have been glad to have had my mace, is not any way I should be feeling at any restaurant... no matter how “classless” McDonald’s is. We went there for a good time today, I got gipped three dollars and worried for the safety of my kids. I will absolutely be contacting corporate. I have been trying to call the location to get my order number, but their phone line is always busy. Maybe they should consider two phones, since the employees need it to call their cousins want to...
Read moreNo Stars - Should have a negative star rating - they make you pick a star in order to post though. This store is always horrible, customer service is non-existent, staff are never in uniform, no hair nets on kids with curly hair, no eye contact or thank yous when you order or pay, you never get your sauce for the nuggets, half the time the sandwiches are wrong, non diet drinks when you order diet (my kids are insulin dependent diabetics, so kinda a big deal), Last night I ordered a quarter cheese, plain - a 6 piece nuggets - 3 happy meals and a drink - got a quarter cheese, not plain - ok, can scrape it off, no 6 piece nuggets - well that stinks, now my son will not have his meal, but best yet, my granddaughter's 4 piece nuggets in her happy meal had no nuggets in it! it was filled with Mac sauce - guess someone thought that was funny! Ya, don't waste your time with this store or any of the others in this franchise - they are horrible and McDonalds or not there is a level of service and quality that every food service should have, I should have at least received an apology - but no, just an I can have them remake your order is all I got, I got the nuggets for my granddaughter, and they remade the quarter cheese - now it was plain this time but completely freakin' RAW! Thanks but no thanks - you won't see another penny...
Read moreWe've had lots of experiences at McDonalds, some good and some bad, but none that were bad enough to come home and write a review. This was hands down the worst experience with ANY fast food franchise we've ever had. There is some serious issues with the management at this location. Waited in line for well over 15 mins, middle buns on quarter pounders were literally hard as rocks and all french fries were severely over fried to nasty brown crisps. Kids meals did not get the right toys, boxes, or snacks. Apples were rotten and the fountain drinks are watered down completely. Top that off with no napkins, no straws, and nasty attitudes from staff and it's enough to make me jump on the internet and take action. Sure, people make mistakes and nobody is perfect, but this was downright horrible. You can clearly tell that the management does not care about their jobs. There's no way, it's not just a mistake or two.. everything you can imagine was horrible. Stale lettuce, rock hard buns, kids meals all thrown together in one bag with no boxes or the correct toys, some stupid watches instead of the "Secret Lives of Pets" toys. Given the location, I'd be willing to bet a few junkies work there and probably stole all the good toys to sell on ebay. Please do something about this...
