Bojangles — Restaurant in Five Forks

Original Review: My experience with store has been steadily declining over the past several weeks. Last week I requested a 2 pc dark meal with seasoned fries. When I arrived home I found 7 biscuits jammed into the normal box with no chicken or fries to be found! I returned to the store and they made it right and were friendly about it. Today I tried to order the same thing. Had to sit in line 10 minutes with only 2 cars ahead of me waiting to order, then another 10 minutes to get to the pick-up window to be told I would need to wait another 10 to 15 minutes for them to cook dark meat, or I could have white meat immediately. I did not want to wait or to accept something I didn't want to have, so I asked if they could do either a grilled chicken or spicy chicken sandwich instead. Was told that would not be possible, so I left without food after at least 20 minutes spent in line. This was at around 12:20 pm on a Wednesday, when you would think they would have a large inventory of chicken in the warmer ready to serve for the lunch hour. I didn't see any of the cars in front of me pick up any large orders, so I doubt they just ran out of product too quickly, they just didn't prepare for the lunch hour by cooking ahead. When you can get the food, it is delicious, but I'm about ready to abandon this store due to consistently poor service and significant wasted time.

Updated Review (3/2/2022): I gave this location another chance to redeem themselves and am happy to report that going there once a week over the past 4 weeks I have had no further issues. The food I wanted has been available without any significant waits and the service has been quick and accurate. Their Bojangles fried chicken continues to be outstanding in taste, appearance, and consistency. I have a lot of experience with fried chicken having worked for a firm in Wisconsin for 9 years which makes pressure frying equipment used in commercial restaurants for cooking chicken and which also distributes a line of fresh and frozen chicken products sourced from leading national suppliers, so I have tasted a lot of fried chicken from numerous sources in my time and this is as good as or better than anyone's...

My husband and I went to this bojangles the other week to get some food fast before we had to be at a gathering. We pulled into the drive through line around 6:15pm (PRIME dinner time). We ordered supremes and an order of 6 bo-berry biscuits. They told us that it would be 3 mins on the biscuits which we were fine with since it wasn't breakfast time. We pulled up to the window to pay and the lady took our payment and gave us our drinks. She told us to pull off to the side parking to wait for the biscuits. We waited for about 10 minutes (giving them some time in case something happened). I told my husband that it looked like the employees were just standing around and no one was cooking anything. He said we should just wait a few more minutes to see if they will bring out the food. 20 minutes later, I told my husband to just go inside and find out what was going on. He went inside and they said "what did you order?" and "when did you order?" -- meaning they had completely forgotten about the ONE order they had at the time we were there. Once he explained the situation, what seemed to be the cook came from the back and said "well don't you want your food to be fresh?" which was incredibly rude given the fact that we had waited for over 30 minutes at this point. After some back and forth, the manager that was there came out and apologized about the situation. We got our food and finally left around 6:50. There was only one other car that went through the drive through while we were there which makes this situation even more frustrating that they had two customers and couldn't even remember to take care of...

Not a fan. This is the 2nd time in 5 trips that my order has had issues. I won't even go into the fact that I had to wait for 7 vehicles to be served after I placed my order, because I was told we had to wait for the chicken to cook. Everyone else must've ordered the steak or fish, I don't know. What I do know is that we got stiffed with the biscuits. They must be so famous that not everyone gets one when ordering a combo meal.

(1/24/22) Additional negative comments to original negative review. First and foremost to the girl at the drive thru window, project and enunciate. Speak up so you can be heard. Also listen so the ordering process starts off on the right foot. Yet again a biscuit was missing from my combo meal. Yet again a dipping sauce was missing from another combo meal.
