I never ever post reviews and I love supporting local businesses. We went for their grand opening - so I am hopeful that maybe we just caught them at a bad time.
Pros: -My drink was strong -Their sausage was good -Each plate came with a watermelon slice - that was a nice surprise.
Cons: -Our waitress was extremely blunt and rude. She would hand us drinks and our food and literally said “I hope that’s what your ordered. May the odds be in your favor. Good luck figuring out what is what” and would walk away before we could ask for anything else. We never received water or silverware or napkins when we asked for them. And to be honest - I used to wait tables and it was not even THAT busy - so I can’t even try to justify.
-They were essentially out of everything and it wasn’t communicated until we went to order our food and our waitress again was very rude about “why are y’all ordering things we don’t have” and “if you wanted that you should’ve been here 2 hours ago”…
-Back to the food - no one at our table actually received the item they ordered. Like it wasn’t even that the plates were switched… like nothing on the table matched the description of what we ordered. We were so offput by the service we didn’t say anything and just ate, paid, and left. We were not offered condiments to accompany our food. The sausage itself (again - not even what I ordered) was really good. But it was served on what appeared to be white bread and I was disappointed based on item description versus what I received.
TLDR: this is very much a bar. I wouldn’t go here to eat again based on my experience with the food...

Nice tavern located at the end of CubeSmart Self Storage at Five Forks. Friendly staff and nice ambiance, but loud due to acoustics. The ceiling is corrugated metal and floors are concrete. No sound deadening materials allow for banter to bounce off the hard surfaces. As the evening progresses, it gets louder. Makes it a little difficult for bands to get the sound balanced. Didn't get a chance to try the food, but it looked good and smelled good. Fairly simple menu with a focus on wings and pizza. Next time I go back I'll try one or both. Again, the staff was very friendly and took great care of...
Read moreWhile visiting my friend in Simpsonville, she was so excited to take me to her absolute favorite end of the night bar... Bullwinkle's tavern. It did not disappoint in any way. The decor is a collecting and all over the place... I spent a lot of time walking around and looking at everything in the bar. They have a ton of local beer on top so I was able to drink local which is something that I love to do when I can. We were there too late for any kind of food but we did get ourselves a bourbon slushie lol. Staff was wonderful and attentive. I'm super friendly. I totally see why this is her end of the night bar, cuz what a great vibe to go home on! I can't wait to visit her again and check...
