Frankie's NY Pizza Five Forks — Restaurant in Five Forks

I moved to Simpsonville 4 years ago, and as a New England native thought Frankie's made a decent - not great - but decent pie. They are understaffed, and don't have the oven capacity to meet the demand. Despite this, for three years I probably came to Frankie's for pizza 40 Fridays per year. The manger never bothered to know my name - even though I saw him every week. He frequently gave free desserts to his buddies - but not his loyal customers. Frustrated with the poor service and mediocre product, a year ago I decided to take my business elsewhere. Tonight I decided to try Frankie's again - just to see if they had improved their pie or service. I called in my order at 5:10 and was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. I arrived at 5:45 (10 min late) and was told it would be another 10 minutes. The same manager was there - and he sat and talked with a customer about fishing for 20 minutes while I waited. He apparently not concerned about the over-promised and under-delivered order times. He even offered the customer a free tiramisu as I waited with another woman for our over-due orders. I told her this same story - and hopes she took it to heart and never returns. 25 minutes after the promised time - my sub-par, undercooked pizza came out. I'll never come back. I've spent thousands of dollars at this establishment. They never learned my name. They never compensated me for my extended wait times. Today actually came for lunch; however, was thoroughly disappointed. As a repeat customer, I usually always get their lunch specials but today got there five minutes before the lunch special ended, and they wouldn’t honor the lunch deal by saying they were not making any more slices of pizza. I’m usually very loyal and love coming here, but today really left a little bit of a sour taste in my mouth. I feel if you have something posted and advertised that you should honor that for your customers who meet the stated requirements.
