Short review: Great food! Great service. Fun atmosphere! Family size portions. The Lo Mein is different than what a typical one tastes like.
Long Review:
First thing... This place was incredibly fast! We literally had our food within 10 minutes of ordering it. I appreciated the fact that the waitress brought out two of our dishes that were ready first and then followed with the final dish when it was finished. This way we ended up with hot food all around.
We ordered sweet and sour chicken, orange chicken, chicken lo mein, and egg flower soup.
Sweet and sour chicken was delicious. It is served with fresh onions, bell peppers, and pineapple. The sauce is incredibly delicious.
The orange chicken was yummy as well. It is not spicy and it does have a nice orange flavor to it. Sometimes restaurants claim it's orange chicken.. But it has no orange flavor whatsoever. This was not the case.
The chicken lo mein was different than any that we have ever had. I can't explain the flavor difference but it is not what you would expect. It didn't taste bad it just is very different than what you are used to if you order this dish from other places.
The egg flower soup was yummy and amazing.
Highly recommend! Wonderful...
Read moreI had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. It became evident that instead of cooking the dishes, they merely reheat them, which significantly undermines the quality. The food, lacking in flavor, was further marred by an excessive amount of sauce that overwhelmed every bite. The vegetables, which one would expect to be integrated with the main dishes, were oddly served separately, adding to the disjointedness of the meal. Moreover, the lo mein was particularly unsatisfactory as it lacked vegetables entirely, deviating from what one would typically expect, and just tasted off. Overall, the dining experience was underwhelming and did not meet expectations. Adding to the list of disappointments, the teriyaki chicken was another letdown. Instead of being grilled, which is essential for achieving the characteristic smoky flavor and caramelization, it seemed to have been merely warmed up. This preparation method missed the mark entirely, lacking the authentic grilled taste that makes teriyaki chicken a favorite for many. The experience was yet another example of how the restaurant failed to deliver traditional and expected cooking methods. Will...
Read moreIf you are a Chinese, this is definitely not a place you want to give it a try. They claimed the food is sichuan style or guangdong style, but it is neither. The food is totally different from what you usually ordered from other authentic chinese restaurants, except for fried rice, noodles. I understand this is a small town, and the selection of Chinese food is limited. But the waitress is also super rude. We asked for 6 glasses of water (4 adults and 2 children), and were only offered 4 straws. Talked to the waitress twice just to get two more straws. Nobody helped us refill the water, we had to ask the waitress, and she literally poured the water everywhere on the table. Her face was telling me that she hated this job or she was underpaid. But hey, we did not owe you anything. With this type of horrible service, they charged us directly 18% of tips on the bill without asking us! If I were the one giving tips, probably will be only 5% or $0. Please understand what tips really mean, and Do not take it as granted. We were in town for long holiday vacation, and I did not want to argue. But we will never go back again if we are in...
