First time in here. The new guy, Riker? (Was told thos is the Asian guy's name) is super rude. Total "Im too cool for this job" attitude. Will I be back? Nope. Not a chance.
Oh, while the oldest (and best) coffeeshop in Flag offers free salsa with burritos), this place charges 50 cents each after one. So I added a buck to the price. Generous anybody? Not here...
When I asked Riker how ling they've been open, his reply was he didnt know. (Read as could care less). The no hello was strike one. The no smile, strike two. When I did his job for him, and said, "how are you guys doing?" Before ordering my food, and he could seriously not be bothered to reply, he offered a crappy look and looked to his feet. His coworker intervened and said, "we're doing good." Strike 3. The unwillingness to even bother to find out how long they' ve been open was just further confirmation for this review. When you start off in a not so hot location in town, you'd think the buz would at least hire really good employees. Readers, bottom line, there are way better choices in this town. I don't see this one lasting. Caring helps, but rudeness is inexcusable. Add to that, super slow wifi, and there is simply no point. Would rather support local GOOD businesses that welcome customers. I'll bet...
Read moreAlways looking for new coffee to try and found this place on Google Maps. It was a pleasant surprise!
It might be hard to catch at first, and from the outside, it looks rather small, but it has a larger space than expected and the atmosphere was very rustic and fit in with the "lumber" theme of Flagstaff. The lighting was not too bright and not too dark. Just right. Atmosphere is 10/10.
We were helped by two friendly individuals and they were apologetic about one drink not having a lot of whipped cream, but we didn't mind. All three drinks that we ordered came out amazing and they tasted great! It's hard to find coffee that still has a strong roast but isn't bitter and has some sweetness to it. But again, huge shout out to the two employees who didn't make us feel unwelcome and were happy to help us. Service was 10/10.
Shame we didn't try their specialty drinks. But will definitely come to this place once we're...
Read moreAwesome coffee/food shop, bigger on the inside than imagined with tons of seating and a nice vibe. Some vegan options i was impressed by (chai coffee cake/vegan burrito with no fake meat replications), im sure they were good for a quick bite. Has non vegan items to- me and my partner got their specialty coffee (iced and a hot) both tasted amazing as i didnt even need to add a thing to it. As for my partner usually, she usually needs to add something extra for the sweetness factor but they nailed it (they do have milk substitutes). Will definantly be back again as the customer service was quick to get our order out and with the quality and price to match. Great coffee spot to visit if passing or staying...
