A good breakfast. When I arrived there were approximately 20 customers on a Friday morning around 8:30. Service was great; I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I was told to sit wherever I chose. There were two waitresses on hand. Staff was very attentive and all neat in appearance. Both wait staff had on Santa hats and there were stocking hung up on one of the walls to reflect the Christmas season. My meal arrived in around 10 minutes. During my visit my coffee was offered to be refilled four times. The food was nicely arranged on my plate. The eggs came cooked as ordered (over-medium) Whites thoroughly cooked, yolks still runny when the outside is pierced. Fried Potatoes were properly browned on the outside and fully cooked through the middle. My four pieces of mahogany colored bacon was crisp, and crust-like that crumbles when you bite into it. The buttered wheat toast was brown on the edges with perfect toaster lines branded across the middle. Coffee was average but plentiful. Restroom was clean & stocked properly. I will return for other meals
Atmosphere Zorbas is located at end of the Telview Plaza mall on the corner of Telegraph and Matilda. There are an adequate number of tables and booths. There seems an overall 50s style theme photos with of Marilyn Monroe, Elvis which worked with the overall black & white palette of the floor, walls and furnishings. You are greeted at the door and given a choice of seating.
Noise Level Fairly quiet at this time for a neighborhood place
Meal Breakfast Special: Early Bird Special. (Two Eggs with bacon, ham or sausage, home fries, toast and jelly.) Coffee extra

Read moreThe service is absolutely terrible!!! I called to do a pick up order. The lady that answered the phone told me they didn’t steak and cheese sandwiches then proceeded to laugh and say yeah we don’t have those this is Zobras hahaha. So I hung up and called back to speak to a manager. She wouldn’t let me speak to anybody. So I went up there and ordered. The lady that waited on me told the lady that answered the phone I was there. So the lady that told me they didn’t have the sandwich approached me and said your the one that hung up on me I said yes. So she said that’s not what you said when you called. Meaning I didn’t ask for the same sandwich I just ordered. Which it was the same. She obviously didn’t understand me. She kept trying to say she didn’t laugh at me when I called. But when I went in and ordered I explained what happened and her coworker said I know I heard. I’m sorry!! So she was apologizing but the other lady just wanted to keep embarrassing me. So she mad me upset even more by saying that and I asked her to leave me alone because she was in my face and she would not. She never once tried to say sorry. Not only did she try to be rude to me on the phone she embarrassed me in front of everyone. I will never ever come back to Zorba’s. Horrible...
Read moreMy grandma had a rude and unwelcoming experience. She was told to seat wherever and waited for 30 minutes before her drink and food orders were taken, despite other tables being attended to that were right beside my grandma, the staff who were also seen talking and cleaning. When she finally placed her order, it took another 30 minutes, only for the server to inform her that the item was unavailable. The server was rude during the interaction, and when my grandma placed a second order, it took an excessively long time to arrive. Additionally, the server inappropriately took a tip from the table right in front of her as she was eating. When my grandma got the bill the witness took it up before my grandma could ask for a senior discount, when she realized she didn’t get it she went up there and ask if she could get it, three staff members denied her saying that can’t reopened the bill, until one finally said she can. This experience left my grandma feeling unwelcome and disappointed. This is not the first occurrence that this place has made my grandma feel unwelcome and...
