Amen Oil Exchange — Local services in Flat Rock

I feel like my grandfather was taken advantage of here, he was charged almost $75 for an oil change. He knew he needed to pay extra for dexos oil but was told it would only be 17.99 more. They should have made him aware of how expensive it would be before doing the oil change and handing him a huge bill like that. I called and spoke with the owner and he was un willing to refund him any portion of the service claiming he only made 10$ off the whole thing. Regardless of a companies profit they should always do what's best to maintain a good relationship with their customers especially when they have been loyal customers for many years in the past. Unless this is made right we will be taking all our business elsewhere...

My husband just took his vehicle here on a week when we have a very low budget, expecting the normal $25, maybe up to $40 simple oil change. He just got home and told me they charged him $75 which is very inconvenient for our budgeted bills. They put a certain oil in that was far more expensive than usual, and mind you it’s a 2012 ford focus and our junk car that we just needed the bare minimum for. They didn’t ask or let him know, they just charged it. And not being a calm person in these situations, he thought it best to just leave. Actually, the only thing my husband said is “what happened to the $25 oil change?” Where as the man says “Uhh we never had that” AS THEY ARE STANDING UNDER...

Went for an oil changed. First they were done in under 5 minutes never showered me my dip stick charged me 117.00 bucks to go down the street something was not right. Checked the oil there wasn't hardly any oil and it was very dirty took my car to a mechanic he said my oil filter was leaking and over tightened he almost couldnt geet it off they didn't put my all my bolts over my shutter for the oil filter and used recycled old oil for my. I do not recommend this pace. A oil change that should of at tops 70 bucks costed me from here 117 and then when I had to get an actual oil change with fresh non recycled oil and new oil filter...
