T-Mobile Authorized Retailer — Local services in Flat Rock

WORST T-MOBILE… Literally such a scam… Went in to upgrade mine and my boyfriend’s phone and change the service over. I can say the guys quickly took care of me but scammed me for sure we wanted 2 iPhone 16 pro max phones they said the closest one was 100 miles away and they would go get it as long as I hold the spot for $30 dollars I said great paid the money and told them I would be back shortly so we could set everything in stone… while I was out getting my transfer pin from my former service I got advice to stop at a corporate store rather then the franchise so I stopped into another T-mobile location which was a CORPORATE store and asked them if it would be the same there.. They informed me that the FLATROCK store I went to begin with should not have charged me $30 they actually told me that’s illegal… they had nothing good to say about that store and told me all the insiders… It took the other T-mobile 3-1/2 to 4 hours to fix the problem the Flatrock store caused. They literally opened my account as a business account and then come to find the $30 was not to go get the phones or make a deposit on the phones apparently they Activated 3 lines under my account. I do not recommend this location to anyone and if you have went to them and continue to go to them I highly recommend you go to a corporate store to see how much they are robbing you! (Just to add the Flatrock store had a higher monthly bill with just my phones rather then my new store with both phones and 2 watches and cheaper then...

My family recently went to a T-mobile store located in Woodhaven, MI. It was a nightmare from the beginning of the long 2 1/2 hour ordeal. We had previously been on a plan with my mom for over the past decade paying about $250/ month for our devices. She switched providers, at which time we decided to get on our own plan, hoping that would help us reduce our bill. Following many obstacles and misunderstandings with the Woodhaven T-mobile team member, we finally agreed and signed up for the new plan she proposed. As we were finishing up (2 1/2 hours later), she then realized that we did not have enough financing to cover our new phones and let us know we would have to pay thousands out of pocket. At that point we were hungry and exhausted and decided to take time to reconsider if we wanted to stay with T-Mobile.

Flash forward a few weeks. We had not returned to the t-mobile store yet. My daughter’s phone was not working. We decided to to try a different location (Flat Rock/Telegraph rd). I am SO happy and grateful that we did. James is the team member who assisted us. Not only did he take his time looking over our bill. He was able to fix the errors that the Woodhaven store had made on our account AND get decade long bill to less than half as well as sign us up for t-mobile internet which is less than half of our bill with another provider. I owe James big time. And I can now rest assured that there are in fact still competent T-mobile employees that put the customer’s...

Most of the staff was amazing. However the “store manager” Alex was absolutely awful. She joins us half way through getting new phones. Completely takes over for the nice rep that was helping us. She tries to sell us a new plan. The exact plan we had already said no to. Wanting us to add 2 lines that we don’t need to get a discount for a couple months and then paying for unused lines for minimum 2 years. I let her know we already said no and that she should not try to sell someone the exact same plan that the rep just finished telling her we didn’t want. At this point she became irate and said she doesn’t want my advice on sales. She then tried to end the transaction (we were buying two new phones, not an insignificant sale for your company). She then proceeded to sarcastically offer me a job. I was embarrassed for everyone in the store that had to witness her tantrum. When I found out she was the store manager I was even more appalled. Any employee of mine that behaved like this would be getting walking papers same day. Very disappointed. There are hundreds of authorized T-Mobile dealers. DO NOT...
