I tried this place twice. The first time, the staff seemed friendly and attentive. But on my second visit, the experience was very disappointing. The employee was on their phone the entire time, didn’t engage, and failed to ask important questions to get my order right. I wanted less sugar, but they didn’t confirm or check, so my drink was way too sweet.
At the same time, I noticed another customer received much better service, including being offered a punch card immediately. This felt dismissive and insincere toward me. Based on my experience, I can’t recommend this shop and will likely not return. It wasn’t even about a punchcard - it was the dismissive attitude, the refusal to engage with basic questions, and the way I was treated like an inconsciente.
Edited for clarity: there was only one employee working at the time, not multiple. My use was generic, not literal.
Your response only confirmed what I experienced: surface level charm, performative concern, and a need to control the narrative off platform. I left my review here intentionally. If you want better feedback next time, try offering better service - genuinely, not just when someone...
Read moreI wish any small business the best ; this place is worth trying — however I hope they fix these things
Cons charged $20 for two boba drinks (willing to pay if they can fix a few other things below— but that’s still pretty steep) the store needs a bit of tidying (they have Kleenex instead of napkins, the tables could use a slight better wipe down, etc) my drink didn’t come with the desired sugar level - I had to specify the sugar level I wanted proactively (usually bubble tea places ask) but they still got it wrong bathroom didn’t have soap which concerns me as someone else mentioned, the process of ordering was a bit uncomfortable because I felt like I was being upsold the iPad still asked for a tip after paying $20
Pros very cute egyptian aesthetic they sell snacks small business so it’s worth the price unique for the area bathroom available to patrons worth the price if they can be more transparent in showing...
Read moreVery cute place. The customer service was ultra friendly. At one point, the lovely lady was making my order of two bubble tea drinks and ice cream rolls when a party of three put in their order and then the phone rang. She handled it all calmly. She asked if I wanted to see how the ice cream rolls were made. It's an interesting and time-consuming process. I also bought a cake-in-a can as part of my friend's birthday celebration. There are 7 flavors from which to choose. The four items plus a tip came to just about $41. Steep, but it's overall worth it for the quality and good service.
*Decaffeinated options available all the time is truly fantastic for those wanting to enjoy milk tea without caffeine.
Update 6/8/2025: I bought the same Nutella cake-in-a-can that I'd purchased for my friend last week. It was delicious and fun to eat! I will try the...
