Habachi Buffet — Restaurant in Flint Charter Township

I went there with my family, about a year ago and chose to give them another chance this Sunday. Let me start with some positives. They're food is typically really good. Though every once in awhile the frog legs might be a little salty, but basically the food's good and some things are great. Let me now switch to the negatives. Their bathrooms,,,, I dread going into there. Here's the thing. If I ever go back there again it will be because I hear that they now have a bathroom attendant over seeing their bathrooms who are making for sure that things are clean. I say this because about a year ago when I had to use their bathroom, it looked like there was mustard smeared all over the men's bathroom toilet,( diarrhea I guess). "Hibachi grill this did nothing for my appetite" ,.I remember going out and sharing the this with my wife,and she tells me," oh I seen the same thing in the women's bathroom." Once again, Diarrhea all over the bathroom toilet and no one gives a freaking hoot to clean it up. However, they're going to charge you back then I think it was somewhere around 62 $65. Now I go there again. This time the bathrooms were much better. I only had to go and deal with urine all over the bathroom toilet seats so I sopped that up because I had to use the bathroom and then put some toilet paper down to go and protect myself from any other thing that might be going on. But yeah nonetheless not a good experience. And yeah this time though I get the the bill assuming $65, maybe $70 due to Biden 's inflation . But no, I got this urine soaked experience for $82 same amount of people. I'm just flabbergasted by the whole thing, but for real it...

I was meeting my Uncle for lunch today and Hibachi Buffet is where he wanted to meet. I'm not a big fan of buffet's so I figured I'd order a lunch combo meal and then I'd have leftovers for later. I've never had General Tso's Chicken but it sounded really good so that's what I figured I'd order. It comes with rice and egg roll, the standard. First of all, the waiter just assumed we both were getting the buffet, so I had to flag him down and tell him my order. No biggie. My Uncle was finished with his first plate and going for seconds before I got my food. Again, no biggie. But oh my goodness, it was absolutely the worst meal I have ever had and I am not exaggerating. The chicken was so over cooked it reminded me of pop rocks. They didn't give me shrimp fried rice or even chicken fried rice, it was a bright yellow fiesta type rice with red onion on top. It tasted just as bad as it looked, like it had sat in a dirty, burnt, iron skillet (it definitely had a metal taste about it). The egg roll had a mystery filling inside and was very hard to bite. No sauce was brought nor was I asked if I wanted egg roll sauce. Needless to say I ate very little and boxed up the rest. This restaurant gets no stars. Worse place every too eat. We were there for a friend's birthday party on October 2, 2023. The server was rude and the manager was also. We came at 3:30 and we were eating. At around 5 my husband goes to eat some more food. He was told that the food he got was dinner. The server was rude as hell and told him that if he eats that he will be charger for dinner, this was after he had gave him a bill for our lunch. As he went to talk to the female manager was was also rude. We had over 10 people there and bought in a lot of money. To me the server was acting as if he didn't like black people. I will never go back and i will be letting people know to never go there. This is the first time that this has happen to us. We have been there a few times. To the owner snd Manger, please know that I will be reporting you guys unless we are given a refund or something. And my husband didn't get a chance to even eat, he had to come home and eat after paying $15.99. NEVER WILL I GO BACK TO YOU PREDICT PEOPLE.
