Disc Replay across from the Genesee Valley Mall is one of the best game resale shops I have ever had the privilege of shopping at. not only do they pay great money for used game systems and right now I'm going to tell you they are really in need of gaming systems, Nintendo Wii's, Nintendo Wii U's, Xbox 360S, Xbox 360ES, external USB hard drives, Nintendo Wii Game Extensions. Xbox One, XBOX ONE S, XBOX ONE X, ALL VERSIONS of PlayStation's, even Nintento Gameboys & Games. (all of you Gen X'ers Around, they have systems like the original NES, Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo's as well!!) I was like the kid in the candy store, me and my 15-year-old son ended up leaving the store only paying $35 with a handful of stuff! I ended up getting a Nintendo Wii Balance Board for $13.99 in near perfect condition, for every five games you get one free (Usually the game w/ the lowest cost.) And don't even get me started on their collection of Blu-Rays that are extremely affordable! now it's my basic one-stop shop for all my entertainment needs, whether it's a used tablet or a refurbished Xbox One X! Right now they are really looking for people who would like to make some 💰 getting rid of her old Gaming consoles And upgrading to a bigger better system! This is a very good establishment run by even nicer people! If anything's ever wrong they will make it right, I've had nothing but good experiences at this place. It is cheaper than GameStop but they actually will send you over to GameStop if they can't help you with a certain title of a game that you need or want for your collection and they don't have it. One last thing that I'd like everybody to know, Disc Replay offers Blu-ray / DVD/game disk renewal and can buff out scratches and make your old desk work just like new! they're one of the last folks in town that actually do this anymore. gamestop sends all that business down their way since they do not offer that service. And they've got me out of so many jams instead of having to buy a basically outdated disc like old arcade games (i.e. Godzilla) That are very very difficult to find nowadays Just took them about 15 minutes to rebuff and refinish the disc and it works like it was never broken at all! Make sure you do get the warranty if offered one they're not very expensive and you wish you had it if anything ever breaks down or doesn't work anymore and it doesn't cost that much I believe games are $2 for a warranty of replacing the same thing USUALY If they have the same game but if it's one that they don't get at all cuz it was popular you may be out of luck if you're doing older systems like the Nintendo Wii. all the employees including the manager or excellent folks is very quiet yes face mix are required there's no more than 10 people in the store at one time and they really take that seriously so you're safe and you feel you're at because they do make sure everything is correct and into...

I had gone to this location a lot of times. Both, as a buyer and a seller. Today, I brought in a monitor to sell, since I had no use for it. Yesterday, I was told to bring it in and they would look at it. Today, I brought it in and the they were giving me a run around about not wanting to take in smaller monitors.
They told me to fill out the paper and leave it. I was not to happy about that. After I filled it out, I was told they would be able to get me the info by tomorrow. That right there is sketchy as hell. They were to busy playing with a box of toys and couldn't take 10 minutes to look at the monitor.
Hours later, I get a call saying there is a scratch and they can't take it. I know for a fact there was no scratch. When I arrived at the store, I wanted to see the "scratch." A few minutes of looking and he couldn't point it out to me. I then watch him rub his finger on the the screen and then he points out a "scratch." I review it and it is not a scratch but a smear from rubbing the screen. He continues looking and points out another spot. Still not a scratch. He then puts the side of his nail on the screen and says there is a scratch.
His coworker quickly comes over with some cleaner and says here, I will wipe it off and then sprays the cleaner directly onto the screen. If you know anything about electronics, especially TV's and Monitors, you DO NOT spray it directly onto the screen. I picked up the bottle he was using and the directions on it even said to spray it on a clean microfiber cloth. After this interaction, I call out their poor handling of my monitor and the employee asks the current supervisor working if they want it and he said no and they tried to leave it at that.
This is very bad customer support and if they treat someone else's property like this, how do you think they will treat something you want to buy.
They have a new store manager at this location and I will see how she handles this whole mess, but I will not hold my breath. Claims she will look at the camera's and make sure nothing wrong was done, but she was at the counter dealing with a phone call when the employee's she took manager position over, did this to me.
Update
The new Manager Alicia called me Up and talked to me. She apologized about the delay and we went over some things. She asked to buy my monitor and make things right. I appreciate everything that she did and had to review. She kept her word and made sure that things would and are taken care of properly. Her main concern is making sure the customers don't feel cheated and that they are taken care of properly.
With this update, please come and give the store a chance. I see good things in store with a new Manager who cares. The old Manager also cared but he has gone to...
Read moreOverpriced. Staff will serve a disruptive ‘customer’ before showing you a $30 item that they have to have locked up because the area is so bad, which shows in the clientele and objective crime maps. Flint is Flint, and that’s very sad, but it doesn’t excuse their poor handling of my visit because I visited other places during my stay that knew how to handle situations.
Nonetheless, staff are not interested in making a sale or honoring the order of the line, more interested in placating the people loitering outside their place of business bothering people who come in to continue harassing customers. I watched a young lady before me leave because the cashier didn’t do anything to resolve the issue before it even became one for me! If you’re going to open a business in a rougher area, be able to handle it. Seriously disgraceful, if I ran my own business this way I would end my own life from shame.
If a customer tells you somebody is causing a problem, you appropriately handle it IMMEDIATELY via delegating the issue to somebody assigned to resolve it. Not 3 seconds later, not 30 seconds later, not 5 minutes later, and especially not at all. You REMOVE them from the store or call law enforcement to do so. THAT is something you stop serving customers for. You CERTAINLY don’t ignore two groups of unrelated customers telling you they’re being harassed inside your place of business by somebody who had been outside harassing people too. Furthermore, If I’m in line, you serve me first, not the people harassing customers who were BEHIND me and only came in to cause problems.
It’s a real shame. I’ve written some incredible reviews of game stores and have never had an experience this terrible.
Cannot possibly recommend avoiding this store enough. Don’t give people who treat respectful, hard working, honest community members (or tourists!)...
