Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Florence

This is an excellent location typically but just a bit of advice: If a customer is sitting idle for a few minutes at a time and has not been helped in any capacityit’s probably a good idea to check in to see if they need any help with anything. Even if the answer might be no.

In the past, when I’ve ordered DoorDash from this location to pick it up for myself, I have been able to go to the online pick up order and snag my bag.

Granted, I do not live here and it’s been a couple of months since I’ve been back so clearly things have changed. It’s probably not ideal to assume that all customers know the policy right off hand.

And while I do take responsibility for not necessarily going up to the counter and checking on my order immediately, it still would’ve been nice for someone to at some point ask me if I needed help with anything instead of watching me sit there.

This was my 5th or 6th time visiting the Pamplico Highway Tropical Smoothie window on 6/24/23 at 4:18:03 and was very disappointed with the greeting from the very pretty tall white young lady that opened the window. Instead of asking me how can I help you? She said "YES" as if we were disturbing her. I'd like to suggest that she work on improving her customer service etiquette!!! Everyone is very friendly, and know me very well ☺️. The food, service, and atmosphere is always great. I'm always greeted by name and a smile that makes me feel very welcomed.
