Slim Chickens — Restaurant in Florence

We decided to visit slim chicken for the first time and we wanted to try some of everything to really experience it all. The area is really clean and they even had outside eating (as pictured). We decided to try the “3 & 3” which is 3 wings, 3 tenders and fries with honey mustard sauce (they have a nice variety of sauces and you can even get the wings and tenders sauced). We also tried the tender Mac and cheese bowl that comes with toast, which wasn’t bad, the Mac is super cheesy but not seasoned but the chicken definitely helps and this can be made into a combo. We also tried the chicken club sandwich combo which comes topped with tomato, bacon, lettuce, cheese and a seasoned ranch mayo sauce. He tried it with bacon and thought the bacon made the sandwich, I personally don’t like bacon but from the bacon flavoring where the bacon had been, I can 100% agree, but even without the sauce alone carried the sandwich. He doesn’t like mayo or ranch but thought it was pretty good on the sandwich. We also ordered a side of fried okra which weren’t fried hard and extremely fresh so to us it was just okay. The sweet tea was made fresh and the hi-c was kind of watery but overall, all of the food was extremely fresh, hot, made right and each meal is VERY filling so of course we didn’t finish everything but you will get your money’s worth. First time trying the restaurant. Brand new location. I thought the way in off of church street was rather tight. Going into the restaurant, we were greeted by the cashier. We ordered some wings and went to the table to wait on service. I went to the men's room to wash up. I noticed wet foot tracks on the flooring. I was on crutches due to an injury, and I noticed the floor was very slippery with the light water tracks. When leaving the restroom, I noticed the tracks went out to the tables. Each and every time the crutches would hit a wet spot, they would slide. The cashier was at a table cleaning the eating surface, and I spoke to her about the tracks and sliding. I made it to the table without falling, but I noticed no clean-up. Shortly after sitting down, the food was brought out. The chicken wings had a good taste. The fries seemed a tad overdone. The toast was good, and celery was fresh. Paper towels were offered at each table along with ketchup. I didn't notice any wet wipes for the sticky residue wings leave. After eating, we started leaving, and the wer shoe tracks were still on the floor. Still not a good mix for crutches and a tile floor. All and all, Not bad food. Would return to eat again. Just thought that the staff would have addressed the issue that had been stated to them since the inside of the restaurant was not...

This restaurant is new and I expected a few things to go wrong, but this place is terrible and disgusting! We ate here three times, right when they opened their doors at 10:30. The bathrooms are filthy and nasty and were never cleaned the night before. We were the 1st customers inside the restaurant and they never said good morning or welcome, they just stood there and ignored us for 5 minutes because they weren't prepared when they opened. The employee in the dining area had her hands down the back of her pants and then tried to get my cup for a refill (i refused nicely). They don't know how to put in orders. We ordered two cayenne chicken sandwiches and one of them with extra sauce. She couldn't do it. We also ordered a chicken tenders with fries to go. She couldn't figure that out and had to ring them up separately. I emailed a complaint to their headquarters so they could get it fixed, but It's been three weeks and I still haven't Heard from them. I would NOT recommend eating here, not only for the small amounts of chicken on their wraps, the lack of knowledge for their computer system, the high prices, the rude and disgusting behavior of their employees, but mostly for the horrible state of their restrooms. If the bathroom is any indication of the state of their kitchen, then I would be scared of disease or sickness from this...
