Velocity Coffee B&B in Florence, Kentucky, is truly a gem for anyone who appreciates a great cup of coffee. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere that makes it the perfect spot to relax or get some work done.
One of the standout offerings at Velocity is their Secret Garden Coffee. This blend is an absolute delight, featuring a beautiful balance of floral and fruity notes. Each sip transports you to a serene garden, with hints of jasmine and berry that create a refreshing and vibrant experience. It’s a unique choice that really showcases the quality of their beans.
Another favorite of mine is the Jasmine Coffee. The delicate flavor of jasmine adds a lovely lightness to the coffee, making it a refreshing option any time of day. The baristas at Velocity are skilled, and they brew it to perfection, allowing the subtle flavors to shine through.
The cozy ambiance of the café is enhanced by the friendly staff, who make you feel right at home. It’s a great place to unwind, whether you’re catching up with friends, diving into a good book, or simply enjoying some downtime with a fantastic cup of coffee.
Overall, Velocity B&B Coffee stands out in the Kentucky coffee scene. If you’re in Florence, definitely make a stop to try any of their amazing coffees and delightful treats--you won’t be...

Great coffee w/ very polite & knowledgeable staff. If you know your palette as I do, you can tell them & they can recommend a coffee that will suit you. If it's not on drip, they'll do a V60 for you.
While you can work from there (I have; they have great wifi), I think it's set up more as a place to meet people & chat. I say that because of the many seating options in the center of the room or otherwise away from power sources. It's doable, but it's limited.
It can get a bit loud when it's crowded (not overbearing, but you'll find you hear people's convos despite the fact you're not trying to). Whether that's a fun "buzz" in a busy place or a bit much will vary from person to person. Headphones or earbuds will do the trick, though. Plus, it's always good to see a small local business doing well in these uncertain economic times.
Please understand this is a craft coffee shop. As such, it's not the place to go if you want a quick drink to go. Even if you just want a cup of whatever they have on drip, you may have to wait if someone ahead of you ordered something requiring a bit more time from the baristas. That's not bad service. That's craft coffee.
Finally, I've also had my kids' bikes repaired there a few times. Great service & very reasonable prices.
Keep up the great...
