Yummy Cuisine — Restaurant in Florence

I’m usually pleased with this place with the exception of my last visit. I placed an order for $33.78. The menu states $25 and over you’ll receive a free lemonade. When asked the guy acted as if I insulted him by asking but did give me the drink. Once home and began to eat; we discovered a few mill worms in the chow mei fung. Not a huge deal because mistakes happen but when I went to return the food the female owner said we shouldn’t have eaten any of it; referring to the two bites my daughter took before discovering the insects. Anyway, not to tarnish a family business because I’m also a restaurant owner, but I know firsthand that customer service is 90% of a good business and this was not the case at this establishment. Maybe it’s the stress of the pandemic but your customers are your issue. She did end up refunding me angrily while trying to give me only $30 but I corrected the amount for $33. I hate this...

When my wife and I first saw their sign, we thought it was a pretty silly name. However, we finally tried it, and have several times since, and all I can say is YUMMY! I am retired military, and my wife and I have eaten Chinese food all over the world, and while Yummy Cuisine might not be at the very top of the list, they are a far cry from the other establishments in Florence. Yes, they are a bit out of the way, and and atmosphere in the store is a bit sterile, but the food, service, price, and friendliness are outstanding. If you want a real surprise, try the General Tso's Bean Curd. (Go ahead, ask for it extra spicy.) I could just about give up meat in exchange for this dish! Really,...

I went here for the 1st time today bc the rating is 4.2 online so figured id try it. I got food for me and my sister. I ordered fried dumplings, scallops, large shrimp fried rice add egg, and a large sesame chicken. 1. The dumplings are over cooked and super dry. 2. The large shrimp fried rice is like a small at most other Chinese restruants and kinda dry. 3. The scallops are ok. 4. The sesame chicken is very good. Overall this was not a 4.2 experience or quality of food several places in Florence are better and give bigger protuons...
