Here is how this goes, I’m reading a social media post about someone raving about Al’s ice cream. I come to read the reviews and one review mentions a flavor that I instantly recognize from a place in WI. I called and asked if they had my favorite flavor, she said she had some left and we were in the car 3 mins later. One reviewer mentioned cost as a drawback, it’s worth the price to me, I actually feel like I got more here and a fixed price than I did in WI with pay by the ounce. What a nice surprise when I stopped to satisfy my ice cream mid-afternoon craving only to find out the ice cream and owners are from Madison Wisconsin!!! So AM I!!! I am a sucker for good ice cream and this small shop fits the bill. My favorite was their blueberry lemon ice cream. And the friendly service by Alexandra (Alex) made the visit even more memorable.
