Linksters Tap Room Venice — Restaurant in Florida

Recently visited for 1st time, & was impressed by  friendly service! cool atmosphere, # of TV screens! & variety of drink specials; however was disappointed to find that they only offered potato chips.

Had hopes of enjoying lunch there....found it inconvenient to have to find food elsewhere after visiting.

(understood~ the focus is on drinks, but believe that offering a limited food menu, such as appetizers or snacks, could enhance the overall experience for customers. Even a simple G.Foreman grill supplying burgers/dogs would be a help. This would also help to address the concerns of those who may be drinking moreso and need something to assist)

Additional Suggestion: please consider pricing Michelob Ultras more competitively. While patrons appreciate the amount of drink specials offered, I believe that a lighter beer like Michelob Ultra ($5/bottle!) should not be priced significantly higher than heavier, higher-alcohol content drinks, especially considering the numerous drink specials offered.

My friend and I were talking. My friend said something about God or a god. The bartender told us not to talk about religion at the bar. I told him it wasn't appropriate for him to tell us what we can and cannot talk about at the bar. He said it was an unofficial policy at their bar. Kyle then asked me to leave because I wouldn't agree not to talk about religion or politics. To clarify we weren't even specifically talking about religion. But apparently you're not allowed to say any word that has anything to do with any religion at this bar. Debate, philosophy, anything that has the possibility of offending someone is apparently taboo here. Well definitely come here if you want your bartender to control what you say or to censor...

Linksters Venice is one of the best bars around, mostly because of the bartenders! They remember your name, your drink and make you feel happy that you're there. I met Kyle when he was at Linksters South Sarasota. Genuinely a nice person. He is friendly and a great bartender. I was happy when he moved to the Venice Linksters. You should check them out!
