New to the area and was looking for a new local bar. I walked in and decided to wait at the door to see if there was a host or any need to check in, it was a completely new area to me and wanted to get familiar. I had a very awkward interaction with the person working there, older woman with short curly hair. I mentioned to her that I’ve never been there before and just wanted to see how it worked. She replied in a very condescending manner saying “ It’s a bar, have you never been to a bar for? You order a drink.” For the most part, I have no issue with an interaction like that, but it was in the open area where everyone obviously heard.
