Green Diamond Pub — Restaurant in Florida

New to the area and was looking for a new local bar. I walked in and decided to wait at the door to see if there was a host or any need to check in, it was a completely new area to me and wanted to get familiar. I had a very awkward interaction with the person working there, older woman with short curly hair. I mentioned to her that I’ve never been there before and just wanted to see how it worked. She replied in a very condescending manner saying “ It’s a bar, have you never been to a bar for? You order a drink.” For the most part, I have no issue with an interaction like that, but it was in the open area where everyone obviously heard. your friendly neighborhood cheers bar, everyone knows eachother and you get greeted at the door. one of the very best places in town to get a beer and have a good time. its lost a star, and should be even lower, ever since the owner died and his wife doubled the price of everything. its sad watching her drain the life out of the best bar in Venice for every last penny and for that reason i don't go anymore. 2 years ago a pint of coke and a refill was 1 dollar, today a single can of coke is 2 dollars. the beer has also increased by 160% in price and the jukebox price doubled too. all that said this is still the best pub in Venice. must visit...

This place is lame. Bouncers are weak.
