The food was very good, but I was very turned off by a couple service issues. As such, not sure I'd return. Had the everything bagel with lox and cream cheese which was very fresh and flavorful. The salmon was notably good. We also shared the Cinnamon nut French toast. It was prepared well, but seemed to be missing something. The Cinnamon was not a very prevalent flavor and the freshness of fruit would have helped. Not a bad French toast, but I have had more interesting preparations. We also enjoyed some cheese blintz which i liked, but have never had before so I'm probably not the best critic. Was not the biggest fan of the muffins they used as kind of a throw away item on each plate. A few of the bothersome service issues: 1. My friend had to send back a coffee mug and wipe off the replacement because it was dirty. 2. The pineapple cheese blintz which we would have preferred to try was not available 3. We attempted to use a coupon and were told they are not accepting coupons for the remainder of the year so we had to pay full price. The coupon maxed out at $15 off so it was a huge difference in price and put a bad taste in my mouth about the overall experience

This is easily the best place for breakfast or lunch. Prices are extremely reasonable and the food is excellent. When we are seated someone comes over and asks us if we want coffee and left a pot of coffee not just filling our cups. While we were waiting in line I just happened to mention to the owner Nancy that it was my birthday today and at the end of the meal the staff brought a cookie with a candle in it and they sang Happy Birthday. I was really surprised. I highly recommend this restaurant I'm sure during the holiday season it will be very busy and you may have to wait but it's worth it. If you arrive before 10:30 they have morning specials. I had the scrambled eggs with potatoes and my wife had two scrambled eggs with oatmeal. Both meals come with coffee and a small muffin and a bagel or bread and the whole meal was only $4.95 each. Very good value. Service was excellent. Pictures included are my meal and the cookie with the candle in it.

My daughters first bagel. I love getting take out, deli counter service, everyone is friendly and helpful. The smoked fish is always fresh n best in town. I have had the competitors and hands down bagel & is better then the others. Herring n cream sauce is cut perfectly, kippered salmon salad is my favorite. Durning quarantine they offered curbside pickup where they brought it out to my car i really appreciated, and normally it's cash only but due to the covid 19 they started to except CC and that really made me want to go back since they were extremely accommodating during hard times. Thank you

We ordered 2 dozen bagels for Christmas breakfast and my wife went to pick them up on Christmas Eve on her way home from work .. On her way they called her and asked if she was coming and she said she was on her way to pick them up. She made sure they were open til 3pm and they said yes. According to the website it stated it closed at 3pm on Christmas Eve. When she got there and they had given out bagels away. Not only did they give the bagels away, but the lady in front was not very nice and said that the time was 3:10pm and the time was actually 2:45pm. They basically ruined our Christmas breakfast,. My wife was in tears because this was our Christmas breakfast that we do every year. When my wife came home I called to see what they could do for the inconvenience. I think the lady’s name was Gina and she said let me see what we can do. She left me on the phone for like 5 minutes and finally came back and said we can give you 12 dozen bagels for free. When my wife came in to pick up the bagels two days ago, they lady in front was very rude and said to her that the reason we didn’t get our bagels was because my wife was late. This was not correct because the website said one thing and the co-workers at the location said something else. Also one of the bagels we got in the dozen had plastic in it. I been going to this establishment for years and never been though this before and it will be my last. I was not never happy with what we went through. I suggest anyone that needs to get bagels or have breakfast to go...

Babels & Lake Worth catered our Shiva on Friday September 22, 2023 and they did an outstanding job. Everything was packed and put together so beautifully. We ordered an assortment of wraps and overstuffed sandwich platters all of which were excellent. The platters came with side salads and we had potato salad, macaroni salad, cole slaw and Nancy (the owner) threw in the cucumber salad. The side salads were delicious as was all of the sandwiches and wraps. In addition we ordered the party fruit platter which was enormous and so beautifully decorated. It says it's for about 15-20 but it was more than enough for our 35 people with so much left over. We also ordered the danish platter and it was very yummy as well. I highly recommend Bagels & for all of your catering needs. I live in NY and have never eaten inside the restaurant but I definitely will next time I'm in Lake Worth. I also want to mention the customer service and staff at Bagels & is truly the best. Everyone was extremely helpful and never made me feel rushed or like I was and inconvenience. I called numerous times with changes and additions and they were all very accommodating...
