Read moreWe attended a softball tournament at Lake Charleston Park today. The fields were in good shape. There is only a little shade near the fields on a sunny day, but we had prepared for that. The bleachers and rest rooms facilities were functional. The concessions were average but served the need. We noticed that some families brought portable gas grills and cooked out. The parking lot filled up early in the day and late-comers parallel parked along the access roads.
