We went to dominicâs yesterday for a late lunch with a party of 8. Our waiter was Elijah and everything was fine until 15 minutes had passed of us sitting there and we still hadnât been asked about drinks. He kept saying hold on and proceeded to serve other people. We also called ahead. Finally we were able to order drinks but halfway through us ordering he walks away to go serve other people. He didnât return to the table for quite a bit of time so we all figured out what we wanted to eat and were ready to order. As we were ordering we had to keep correcting him on what he was repeating back our orders as. Example: My son asked for two slices of cheese pizza and he repeated back âtwo slices of pepperoni pizzaâ then we corrected him and he proceeded to say âtwo slices of cheese and pepperoni pizzaâ he wasnât great at listening. He completely skipped over my husband and grabbed all the menus, when he had yet to order. Then itâs time for the food to come out and half of the meals were forgotten about. The poor manager had to call in his wife to fix this disaster. They didnât bring out 3 meals, including the slices of pizza which shouldâve been brought out first in my opinion. We got asked four times if we got everything and when we said no the waiter would go in the kitchen, then come out and serve other people. After 15 minutes everyone had their food and the food was amazing. Except for the fact that I had to ask three times for pasta that I ordered at the beginning, just for it to come out cold, and uncooked. My husband and I went there for the first time today. He had the the linguini w/white clam sauce which was excellent and I had a veal palm subwhich was fair. We also ordered a pie to go. Nicole was our server and she was great!!! When we were done eating, Nicole brought us the pie we ordered to take home. I opened the box to check it and it was completely overdone. Even the sauce turned dark red. She looked at it and agreed. She brought it over to the guy who made it who flipped out that we were returning it! He raised his voice saying, âAre they KIDDING me? Thereâs NOTHING wrong with this pie! They have to tell me in advance if they want it baked differently!â Weâll, I couldnât believe his unprofessional behavior and attitude right in front of us. I didnât realize you have to tell him not to burn it in advance.....really? No apology, NOTHING from him. He was so pissed off! Relax buddy, itâs just a pizza. Geez!
Our server Nicole apologized profusely as I said to her, Iâm not even going to wait for another pie with that guyâs attitude. She understood and apologized again. I asked her If he was the owner. She replied he was one of the managers...WOW!
I hope the owner of this business sees this review so he realizes the terribly rude person he has running his business. We will not be back because of him and will make sure anyone we know does...

To the owners response: The problem is that I already started giving my order. I ordered an item from your lunch menu posted online, and then your employee said "I don't think that menu item is a lunch special, let me check" after walking away and not returning. It definitely was a lunch item, check your own menu. Your employee simply didn't want to take my order or was trying to give me a difficult time for no apparent reason. Afterwards you pick up the hold he had me on and ask what I want from the start again? No wonder I hang up if you absolutely don't value your customers. Also in what right mind does a restaurant call you 3 times afterwards to see if you still want to order, when they failed at taking your order in the first place, leading you to hang up and order somewhere else. Super unprofessional. One of your calls to my phone was 3 hours later? Your response below is an entirely 1-sided excuse from your business perspective and you do not value your customers apparently, so I will stay clear and make others aware.
