Beach and Brew on 30A — Restaurant in Florida

My wife and I always come to this area to eat and enjoy ourselves. Today we went in and sat in the back area to wait and decide what we wanted. My wife was sitting waiting until I came out of the restroom and the bartender came over and asked were we buying something with a terrible attitude and my wife told her yes we were after I came out of the restroom. My wife also mentioned to her that we’ve been there before and we didn’t have an issue then. The bartender, who’s an older woman, then told her, “I’m sorry, I didn’t recognize y’all it’s just that people come in all of the time and not get anything, so please understand where I’m coming from” ; my wife then told her that she felt targeted. I’m an African American woman and it is common in this world that we live in to be targeted because I am gay and a minority. It’s not okay to just approach my family and give the worst attitude with your nose in the air and it’s obvious I’m the only black person in the bar.I expect to come and be able to take my time and decide what is it that I want to drink without such hateful attitude . Feels like home away from home when it comes to good beer and good people. Their vast craft beer selection is sure to strike anyone’s fancy. They also have live music 2-3 times a week! and provide a cozy and intimate environment for singer/songwriters to perform. I’ve been gravitating to this place during my stay in Seacrest, and have still yet to find a tap house that’s more homey than this one. Big shout out to Mace, one of the bartenders, for filling me in on some good parks and places to check out while I'm in town. Kind folks, and killer tunes. If you're looking for a brewery that nails both good vibes and great beer, congratulations — you found it. The atmosphere here is so chill, I half-expected a unicorn to show up with a craft IPA. Deb deserves her own beer label, she’s that amazing. Sharp, hilarious, and somehow makes everyone feel like they belong, even when they definitely don't deserve it. And speaking of things done exceptionally well… there's a man bun situation happening behind the bar that's almost as well-crafted as the beer.
