Blue Pineapple Bistro — Restaurant in Florida

Food was good. Bloodys were great. Wait staff and overall experience horrible. We went there earlier today. A family of 5. We were told a 20-30 minute wait. It was just under an hour. There were numerous open tables. We put drink orders in right away and waited over 30 minutes for some amazing bloodys. It took 20 minutes to get Sprites for the girls. We put our food order in and it took forever. We asked for dressing on the side. Didn't get any dressing. We weren't asked if we wanted anything else. Our waitress never stopped in to see how the food or drinks were. We were not asked if we wanted any more soda or water. No acknowledgement of the long wait. No acknowledgement of the food taking close to an hour (a salad, two burders and flat bread). Waitress stopped to get our drink order, food order, and then when we asked for the check. That's it. We walked into the place at 12:20 and finally left at 2:10. The food was good. The bloodys were great. Waitress was unpleasant. The long wait with open tables horrendous. Probably caught them on a short staffed day. But that was a horrible...

Came in excited for bloody marys. We had heard awesome things about the bloody marys. What an utter disappointment. The show and presentation was 5 stars. THERE WERE NO SIGNS NOR WERE WE INFORMED that the bloody marys do not contain vodka. They are a BEER AND WINE ONLY. They use a wine based liquor instead. The last time i was mislead and drank a wine based liquor, it made me really sick. I asked the server if it contained vodka after we drank half and never tasted the vodka. She said no. When i asked why it wasnt stated on their drink menu anywhere, she pointed to the tiny writing on the bottom left corner of the napkin dispencer and said, " well it says it right there." I was beside myself. How can you charge $20 for a wine based bloody mary? There was nothing done to rectify the situation. The food was good, but nothing id rush back for. Our server was o.k. You should a disclaimer sign and have it on the menu. Otherwise, it seems like false...

So we had high hopes for this little outdoor bistro. The experience was terrible but our need to eat kept us there. We arrived and were seated immediately. Started out well...then after about 30-45 minutes we realized we were the only patrons without food. Our waitress only addressed our tardy food after we summoned her to the table to inquire about the delay. She stated that the order didn't go through because of an order glitch. Kinda crazy our table is only table whose order didn't make it to the kitchen. The table who were seated 10 minutes after us food was being brought to the table which further frustrated our hungry melanated table. The restaurant did give us 50% off our bill which was a kind gesture. We never saw a bill just the waitess reading off how much we owe. Umm..thats strange. Was it the wait worth it? Nope. The food was just basic, definitely nothing to share with our family and friends in North Carolina. Well you...
