Bob Evans — Restaurant in Florida

WARNING!!! Horrible experience. 1st time at any Bob Evans, though it would be similar to IHOP, my daughters love IHOP so figured why not. Place wasn't packed and our waitress was really nice. After she had taken our orders, time passed as we talked and entertained the youngest and realized it's been 15 - 17 min and our appetizer hasn't even arrived. Once it did I knew something was wrong cause it looked nothing like the picture! We ordered the "New Chili Cheese fries" on the picture it's served on what looked like a deep dish bowl, what we got was a regular plate with a bit of fries with chili, not even a mound of fries, I could have picked all the fries with one hand. Still we were hungry, ate, kept quiet. Once my girls started complaining that's when I got up and asked why has it taken close to 32min to get food on the table. It's not like we ordered an exotic meal. The girls had Mac and cheese and a pancake, I ordered the "Rising Sun" consist of 2 eggs, 2 chicken sausage and what I assumed 2 biscuits (or your choice of baked bread) my wife ordered the steak with Mac and cheese and buttered broccoli. By this point you can see the server feels embarrassed/ashamed as others around us also waiting for their food for 30min+ start complaining and walking out... as people complained to the "manager" and left, i saw how he tried to console our server (it was her tables leaving, she was in tears) by making fun of the people leaving...

Our girls plates arrived first, followed by mine and finally my wife's, starving I basically swallowed my 4piece plate, felt warm from what I can only assume was a microwave (plate was warmer) but... my wife's food was cold (Mac and cheese freezing) and they got the order wrong. At that point we just called the server and mentioned to remove my wife's order from ticket. She offered to make my wife another plate to what I almost responded "make it a Thanksgiving dinner" with how long we will wait for this new plate to arrive!!

Long story short... we ordered food around 530p by the time we left it was 715p, at no point did the manager come by to check on us or even offer an apology, the other servers did that for him and discounted my total amount for the inconvenience... save yourself the money, time and horrible experience and go somewhere else!!

Everytime I have come to this location I do carry out so I can't say anything on the service for in restraint dining but I can say I have done carry out quit a bit and have always made sure to tip quit well as I know carry out people tend to forget to rip bit realizing carryout still has to get everything together to make sure you have everything for your meal so that you still enjoy your at home meal. But at this site not only so they forget to include ketchups and jelly's and stuff even after I remind them they have also forgotten stuff in my order al.ost every visit they have forgotten already 1 or more items and then on top of it the food I do get is cold or wrong I have let this go but tonight was final straw so u got on line so others can beware what ur in for tonight they not only forgot items like Kelly ND butter and silverware but there was hair in my soup my food was so cold that I asked for loaded coutry potatoes they were so cold they cheese wasn't even melted or even in the slightest the bacon and sausage on top were cold and my eggs were suppose to be over easy and they were solid all they way through and thus has been the 4th time rhey have been delivered that way way . All I can say is beware when ordering from this location I usually have always lived Bob Evans Bob Evans and cracker barrel are my go 2 s but it's sad to say that in this area look like my go toos are going to be cracker barrel and Denny's which is a sentence I never thought I would say cracker barrel has always been on point no matter the location. So just take xausruon when ordering from this Bob Evans oh and plan on when ucking up to be ignored and u food not ready when told a time it will be I've always given them extra 10 minutes and I'm still waiting 5 minutes and noone a knowelwdges me while waiting to pick...

We visited this restaurant to have dinner with my great-niece and her family. Plenty of parking when we arrived, and we were seated quickly upon arrival as a party of 6. My husband ordered a hamburger, I ordered a steak tip salad, and my great-niece's family ordered two hamburger meals with french fries and a fish sandwich with fries. One of their burgers was a kids' meal, so it also came with vanilla ice cream. I had also ordered hot water with lemon slices to drink. When that arrived, I sent it back since it appeared the hot water in the cup and the tea pot had coffee residue in it. The water was not clear at all. They replaced it, and the second serving was fine. All the food arrived within 20 minutes after ordering it. The burgers, fish sandwich, and fries were all good tasting. My steak tip salad was disappointing. It was supposed to have iceberg, arugula, and spinach leaves along with cheese, tomato, and steak tips. I received 3 spinach leaves, and the arugula leaves were more like stems without the arugula leaves. The steak tips were a little chewy but not bad. The lettuce selection was the most disappointing since the arugula and spinach leaves were so few and sparse. The waitress checked back often to refill our water and ice tea drinks. Her service was great. I'm not sure I would order a salad again at this location, but everything else was...
