I was really hoping this would be another good local coffee shop but unfortunately it was not. I ordered a pour over coffee for around 5 dollars and my girlfriend ordered a hot vanilla latte. We decided to sit at the counter and we got to watch them make our drinks. While she barista was making my drink in a Chemex, she put the filter in wrong and she did not allow the water to drain from the filter before disposing of the grounds and the filter. In turn, when she tried to pull the filter out, she let all the grounds fall into the coffee she just made. In fairness she apologized and said she did not want to waste the drink. So the put the coffee with the grounds in it into a french press to 'filter it'. Now the french press filter is more open than a chemex so grounds got into the coffee. She poured it into a cup and gave it to me, which the bottom part of my cup was nothing but grounds. Then, my girlfriends latte was supposed to be a hot vanilla latte. She instead got a iced hazelnut latte. We could have asked for new drinks yes, but after both getting bad orders we decided against it and left. We probably won't be back and we will just stick to Bodacious Brew...

I ordered food from them using the Waitr delivery service app, and within minutes I recieved a call from them saying they didn’t have one of the items I ordered in stock, so I’d have to choose something else. I chose something else and that was fine. A few minutes later I recieved a second call saying I needed to choose something else AGAIN because the second item I ordered, they didn’t have. She said that her manager was out grabbing more stuff so they’d have it later but not right now. At that point I was a little irritated but still understanding because the lady was pretty nice. When I recieved my order the food tasted old and almost stale, just gross and not worth the money I spent. (Which is already super expensive) my coffee was pretty gross as well, for $7. I never complain about things like this but I find it ridiculous that instead of being prepared the day before, you open your store with only having a few things on your order available and then make me choose things I didnt want in the first place... twice.
