I am having a hard time understanding the 5 star reviews. Good ice cream is easy to come by,

I am extremely shocked by the condition of this place in the heart of Wellington. I expect a better kept ice cream shop. The walls need painting, the equipment is old, the door is extremely dirty and corners look like a flea market collection. I was embarrassed as it was my first time here and I brought my friend from out of state to get some ice cream. Being that I am still new in the area, I had no idea, I just expected it to be clean and kept in there. It was more like a little bit of dinge and recklessness. The register is so old it operated manually, and when my 2 toppings were charged my ice cream price jumped to almost 5 dollars more. When you are a small business owner you should pride yourself in providing quality food and service. This place looked very old, dirty and not well kept. Even after my initial hesitation based off the appearance of the shop, I still decided to give them a try. The ice cream tasted very old, and I tried over 3 flavors before moving forward with my order. I felt like I was going to throw up after eating a few spoons full of the banana pudding flavor. It was definitely a waste of money, and I wish I would have followed my initial instinct to leave. My advice would be for you guys to revamp the shop, bring in quality ice cream, get custom cups for the ice cream, clean the place up a lot and create a more fun and joyful environment. We ordered plain vegan vanilla with sprinkles on the side and it came as a chocolate vanilla twist covered in a grossly sweet chocolate sauce. The chocolate sauce they add has milk and whey, NOT vegan do not eat this if you are lactose intolerant. Also it has sugar alcohols and the nutrition facts label is incorrect and brings questions of validity to the entire label. Unfortunately won’t be ordering here anymore because the person who answers the phone just wants to talk over you and argue that there’s nothing wrong.
