Have been going to park ave bbq since I was little, the one in Tequesta and North Palm Beach and have never had an issue with the ribs they are the best but got a full rack the other night at the Wellington store, and got them home and they were completely charred and dried out and were inedible. Now I hate to complain or call in about issues but I feel that if Iâm paying $25 a rack I should speak up well I called the next day ans spoke to David the manager and he was great just told me to bring the leftovers or anything left I had back to the restaurant and they would replace them , so I went back and they were awesome and everything else in the bag, garlic toast, slaw and everything was spot on but the ribs werenât burnt again! I mean I swear I had to look at every one of them to make sure I wasnât going crazy but sure enough they were the same if not worse than the night before. I think maybe itâs time to give them a break and try back in a few months. I figured if you called in and told someone about your experience that they would make sure the next order was impeccable but I feel like they were like, try these ! Same as last night lol.    Read moreI've had dinner delivered twice from this restaurant. My first time around, I ordered the baby back ribs. They were excellent! Great flavor, a good char on them. I would absolutely eat them again.
My second time, I wanted to give a different option a shot. The brisket...fails to meet expectations. Honestly, it's nearly inedible. Very dry, no flavor, required loads of barbecue sauce to even swallow it, and just all around a disappointment. It doesn't seem to have been cooked in a smoker, but rather in an oven, and the result is not good at all. I see no bark, I see no smoke ring, I taste no smoke or really anything quality at all about it. It almost certainly was cooked in an oven, at too high a temperature and probably wrapped in foil the entire time. This is not at all how you do brisket.
The sides I have tried (mac&cheese, collard greens, and sweet potato fries) have all been passable, and the cornbread is surprisingly exceptional.
In all, I would order from here again, but they either need to drop beef from the menu entirely, or find someone that can and will smoke it properly. The only thing I can't fathom is how one can do ribs so well and yet do...

Staff were loud and gossiping even though we sat very close to them while they "worked" over staffed and they were just milling around. Calling them tomorrow to speak with a manager! really horrible at Wellington location! people just don't care anymore about food quality or service. ya its a burger joint with bbq bar setting, but still, there is a way to do a food business. OUR WAITER was stoned faced and emotionless.... while we were still eating and having conversation he butted in and asked should i pack you up? do you want to take this home? really? leave us alone to finish our conversation. Grease was dripping! from the OINION RINGS AS THEY SAT IS A POOL OF GREASE. Fries are like thick hard cardboard. Stupid waiter made me so angry with his attitude.
