I don’t know if it was the day of the week, or if it was just rotten luck, but my husband and I went to Brooklyn bakery to try some pastries. He chose based on the high reviews, and so we bought a cookie, and Napoleon pastry, and an Italian cream cake, all for just under $30. The price alone was a bit shocking, but when we actually ate the desserts, it was instant regret.

Sadly no ice cream either, but the base menu is soooo extensive and just can't be beat! Today we had chocolate desires. Being gluten I had flourless chocolate cake and the other half had a super rich brownie, both unfinished! ...
