Ralph and Jodi are the absolute best! They create a warm and friendly environment that compliments the best pizza and sandwiches around. Having lived in NY city, I can tell you their pizza is absolutely the closest you’ll get to a NY pizza.

My favorite sandwich is their steak sandwich. It is loaded with high quality steak and the veggies are fresh and delicious. The rolls they use are fresh and soft and hold up to ingredients preventing sandwich blowouts! 😁

Another plus is the cleanliness of the restaurant. The seating environment is clean and most importantly the kitchen area is clean. You can see all the food being made. Another restaurant in the area (Lennys), is pretty disgusting. There is always food on the kitchen floor, the kitchen counter looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in weeks. Recently went in for a slice of pizza and they took the pizza from below the counter and placed it on the counter that just had boxes and stuff on it. The guy handling the pizza was the same guy answering the phone, using an ink pen, typing on the register, etc. Didn’t wash his hands, just put his hands on the crust to hold it while cutting it. Bruno’s pizza never handles the food like that.

In summary, Ralph and Jodi at Brunos always make you feel welcome. You feel like you just came in off the block and they’ve known you forever. The food is amazing and the reason kitchen and eating area is clean.

Definitely hit...

Well.... I can tell you what not to order!! Forget about getting a cheesestake. I don't know what I just received from the delivery guy, but it damn sure wasn't even close to resembling a Cheesestake. I got a whole sub roll with what I can only hope was meat. For starters.... When placing the order I asked for fried onions and mayo. She was confused about my complex order and began to talk about lettuce. Like.... who the hell said anything about lettuce? Then she asked if they could just put the mayo on the side... whatever, guess it's too hard to slap some mayo on a sandwich?? Btw... did NOT receive the mayo "on the side". In fact.... It wasn't even in the bag!! If you want to stop crime in Philadelphia you should hand out theses bad boys, this place is claiming to be a Cheesestake to all Philadelphians. Everyone would be so perplexed scratching their heads they wouldn't have time to do anything else. I have never in my life ever written a review for someplace. But this was so horrible that I just had to put it out there. I gave it to my dog I was so disgusted. My dog looked at me like I was stupid. And the funny thing is I beat and starve my dog!! So my starving dog wouldn't even eat this so called cheesestake. The only reason I gave it a whole star was because I had to just so I could write...

Visiting ormond beach and grandson wanted pizza. Researched menu online. Brunos was close and like the menu. Ordered baked ziti with meatballs for myself and a precooked slice of pizza for him as well as the cheese bread knots. Salad was fine. Took about 20 minutes-but had asked for baked item so that was ok. Meal was brought to us. Was brought spaghetti and meatballs. Took it to staff and was told "well it's the same price." Everyone who knows me knows I don't eat spaghetti and meatsauce. My grandson could only eat about 1/2 of a 5"x5" slice as it had been cooked so long the crust was like eating hard croutons. In the middle was asked how everything was, told the same girl I had gone to that I was extremely disappointed as we had researched their restaurant and had already told her that my order was wrong. She then offered to make me a new dish, at that time I was too angry. I ended up paying $20 for us to eat half a slice of pizza, 3 meatballs, and half the bread. I left 90% of the food on the table. Posted on their Facebook site. Received apology from management and invited to try them again. Apology helped some but not enough. Was only in area for two days and had no intention of going...

Each time we step through the door the theme song from Cheers plays in my head, but the 80s rock being sung from behind the counter is all Ralph. The man from the Bronx, along with his wife, Jodie, daughter and Conner in the Kitchen are serving up delicious NY and Philly style food. Like any great Italian family style restaurant, if it's not on the menu ask and it shall be yours. We have made it a regular stop and are working our way through the menu. My favorite is their garlic knots and Greek salad. Their lasagna is packed with meat. The meatballs are special and pizza is perfect. Portion sizes are large. Staff is friendly and the price is right. The seating is limited so if you live close pick it up or have it delivered. We drive quite a distance so we prefer dining in. Bon Appétit.

Excellent food and reasonably priced. I am a self admitted pizza snob from NYC so it takes a lot to impress me. Ordered a meatball sub, meat, lovers, pinwheel, and Sicilian slice. Bonus points added for having Sicilian! Extra bonus points added for having the Sicilian be done correctly! In my personal opinion slice needed a little more sauce, but everything was very tasty. The meatball Parm sub, impressed me the most tasted like homemade meatballs on a homemade bread that was perfectly done! The meat lovers pinwheel was good, but I would’ve done it differently myself. Still worth getting again though. This place is excellent. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend it.

The food in this pizza place is the worst i have ever had, in fact we wouldn’t even eat it. We threw it away. When Maria owned Bruno’s, the food was excellent. I received a pinwheel that was clearly burnt. Ralph said it was supposed to be that way with an aggressive attitude . Ralph takes the cake for being the nastiest human being in this area for 12 years being in the area . I don’t know how he is in business, I have pictures of the burnt pinwheel which Ralph clearly defends aggressively.he refused to give me my money back and tried to twist his deplorable poor business attitude onto me . I should have called the police on him.
