Aesthetically pleasing with high ceiling for potential but plagued by unacceptably slow service and poorly trained work staff.
I was initially ecstatic that this location that opened about 5 mins from my home as I normally drive 20ish mins to the Uptown Station location on Sundays for football.
My first visit was April 27th because it was the 2023 NFL Draft and they were still fairly fresh / a month or so in from grand opening if I’m not mistaken.
I came in and sat myself at the bar. I waited about 10 minutes to just be greeted and ID checked. I sampled some beers and then my bartender never came back to me to take my order after the beer samples. Another 5 mins goes by and the other bartender Id checks me and takes my drink order… than never made it as she got busy / forgot because she took the entire bar sides order back to back without writing anything down. I’m now 20 mins in without a beverage. Finally a manager comes behind the bar and I get ID checked for the 3rd time even though I’ve already been served samples… than someone asked her to change the TV channels at the same time and she left the bar to do that and I literally never saw her come back (Kali?)
Visit 2: After my first visit, I thought I just came in at a bad time because they were really busy. I came and sat myself again at a bar-side table this time instead of at the bar hoping I would get better service. I sat for nearly 10 minutes before I got up and confronted a work staff member whether or not anyone was going to be taking care of us. Once we got served, we got some HH / late night dishes and drinks and they were solid, but what really bothered me… I watched 2 staff members for the tenure of an entire football game (3+ hours) stack dirty dishes on tables around us. Even tables that were initially clean. By the time we left, every single table near us was dirty and has been for over an hour while 2 staff members (girls) were just gossiping about a guy they work with as they continue to plague the area with dirty dishes. Did the dishwasher stop working and our area became the dish pit?? I’m talking like 13+ plate stacks with even more used cups…
Visit 3: They were busy and understaffed. My first 2 visits there were 3 bartenders and this time, only 2. The service station bartender was working her heart out and the other one was taking care of the entire bar. I respect the work ethic but service was still extremely slow and after this visit, I deemed this place incapable providing adequate service unless the bartender knew you and you got prioritized. Such a shame. I will continue to drive 20ish minutes to the other BWW location even though this place is 5 mins...

So, I’ve been there 3 times now (yeah, in 3 days, I know I have a problem)! Here’s the short and sweet if you don’t feel like reading all the details, Owner - Awesome, Manager Sarah - Awesome, Wait staff - shaky but good, Kitchen - Needs work!! Overall, I’d give them a 3.5/5 and hope they only go up from here!!
First visit was opening night at the bar and I just had a drink but the restaurant is beautiful and one of the best setup BWWs I’ve been to and I’ve been to a lot in the last 25+ years since they were BW3 back in Ohio! The bartenders were very nice and attentive and I meet the owner who was also very friendly!
Second visit for lunch and the wait staff are still trying to get their bearings. We were sat and waited 10+ minutes and it wasn’t very busy, and nobody came to greet us or take our order even though there was about 5 waitresses at the stand looking at us and chitchatting. We finally flagged someone down and asked if we could get waited on. There was confusion over who’s table we were and instead of asking management they just let us sit there. We ordered and the food came relatively quick but the wings, both boneless and traditional were cold but sides were hot, definitely a kitchen issue. One of the managers, Sarah, came to talk to us and wanted our honest feedback and she was great about receiving it to help change for the better! She was awesome!
Third visit was for lunch again, my mom is visiting and goes back home tomorrow and wanted it one more time before leaving. They were not too busy again today, which is surprising! This time, wait staff were on point but again the kitchen let us down! Mom ordered street tacos with NO cilantro and they came covered with cilantro and I ordered wings, extra crispy and wet but they were definitely NOT crispy, which sucks because I hate rubbery chicken skin and they were definitely NOT wet. I’m merely making statements on attention to detail My last three trips fries that had been sitting there so long there is no way anyone would eat them my next two trips the fries that I ordered and paid for never even made it into the bag. Inflation how about seven dollars twice for fries that never showed up the problem is I didn’t look in the bag because I expected people to do their job and I live too far away to go back and I don’t wanna call back because I don’t need a coupon for your next visit I just need you to do your job. And the celery honestly I was scared to eat it although it’s just celery, but on all four pieces, both ends on every piece look like a brown crayon There’s no way an owner or GM allows this to happen unless they are not involved It is your job to be involved. I can choose slim chickens. I can choose KFC. I can choose Publix. I can choose Winn-Dixie. Their wings are easily comparable and I get to pick my sides. Again, the food is good, but I’ve given away $20 for nothing in the next time I want wings I will remember that If I did my job, that way, I would be on unemployment Again, great personalities great attention to the people, but just not to what is being sent out
