My friend and I went to this Buffalo Wild Wings on 5/25 and 6/20. The food, excellent. Zero problems in that category.
The problem…..the bartenders. The first encounter on 5/25 was just met with an unhappy, unpleasant and non attentive bartender. She did take our to-go food order and served us our one drink, but not before rolling her eyes into the back of her head. seemingly for the fact that we walked in an hour before their 1 am closing time I assume?
While she was not pleasant, she was MUCH better than our second bartender on the date of 6/20.
This time, I ordered our food ahead online to try avoid the eye rolls for placing a food order at the bar an HOUR before closing. When we arrived, we went to the bar to have a drink while we waited for our food. At midnight , when we arrived, the male bartender already had his AirPod in and was already focused on leaving it seemed. This was evidenced by his statement when we ordered a beer that it was last call and that he never came back to check on us for anything . Ever.
So, At midnight, Not 12:30 which is more typical for a 1 am close….. He reluctantly served us, and when we ordered a second beer at 12:15, we were informed last call was in 2 minutes. And definitely gave the impression that he didn’t want us having another drink at his bar. But Again, he reluctantly served us and I paid. The total was $21.60 and I gave him $25 and got $3 in change. No explanation on where the $0.40 went. I do understand if the drawer didn’t have change, but that should have been expressed to me. It’s $0.40, but it’s still money. I tipped him regardless and a woman from the back brought out our food. Which was very good and all correct.
Since I’ve been twice, I’m sure it’s the establishment and the people they hire to interact with guests that they don’t care much about. I’ve never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant that wasn’t closing for an hour. I’ve worked in restaurants for YEARS and I am still in a customer service based industry. Even if I am not happy with a situation, I don’t let my customers/ patrons feel unwelcome. Especially when I was working for tips. I wish I was the kind of person who can leave without tipping. But I’m not l. All I can hope for though is that the money I left on the to go online order did not go to him but to someone who deserved it. Like the kitchen. It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review. So,...
Read moreYesterday, 01/10/18, Me and My Boyfriend decided to come eat here after the mall, it was around 9, I had my puppy with me in a secure bag and she was sleeping so she was very quiet. We walked in and waited 10 minutes to be seated, while the servers who were coming out kept walking around and looking at us. When we finally got seated at a High-Top, our server came up to us, asked us what we wanted to drink, she noticed the dog and when my boyfriend said what she wanted to drink she rolled her eyes and was like "okay" with an attitude. She walked away, 10 minutes later she comes back and can see in my boyfriends face he's pissed. She asks him "Are You okay?" Once again, with an attitude. He responds, "with all due respect, I don't understand why you would roll your eyes at me and give me an attitude when you took my order." She goes, with an attitude ONCE AGAIN, "i rolled my eyes because you have a dog here. I asked my manager if it was okay to have you be here" (With all due respect, I work in a well-known restaurant and they allow dogs in the restaurant who are 10x bigger then mine if they are service dogs. But she was in a bag, secured, and wasn't barking or anything) Afterwards, we take our order. Never see her again. She brings us appetizers and brings us those plates 15 minutes after we're finished with our appetizer. A family of 5 comes in 20 minutes after us, and she keeps attending to them and on top of that, THEY GET OUT FOOD BEFORE US. We waited nearly an hour to receive our food, she never once asked if we needed anything else, she NEVER gave me a refill, nor did she ask if we wanted any desert, etc. She just threw the check on the table. And I'll be damned if I would Tip a service as awful as that. Her name is Jackie, I would NEVER recommend her. Here's a tip though: you should fix your attitude If youd ever like to...
Read moreI’m super upset! I come here at least once a week because the food is good and it’s the only place that’s open after ten (when I leave work). To be honest, usually the service isn’t the best but I don’t care, as long as they give me my food is fine. This time however, I went to order some food to go, when I arrived, the guy that was working, there was taking some lady’s order, I stand behind her (like waiting in line) waiting for that stupid cashier to take my order next, When he is done with her instead of even looking at me, he just goes straight to the kitchen, I didn’t thought much of it and just waited, it passed like 10 minutes and he didn’t came back, in that time more people came in an were standing behind me, that same guy came back, asked those people what they were waiting for. Give them their order (I assume they ordered online) and started doing something in the register, without looking at me types something in the register and goes back inside, not even acknowledging me, that’s when I decided that was enough. I have no problem waiting for my turn. In fact if those people already ordered online, I have no issue with them getting their food first, my problem is that stupid worker didn’t even look at me. Didn’t even say anything as if I were invisible. I just came from an eight hour shift I’m hungry and I never have never felt so disrespected. This was on August 23 at 10:40ish, he is a white guy, middle age and wears glasses. They weren’t even busy in the restaurant, maybe like 5 tables in total. But even if they were is not an excuse to his behavior, I hope Cisco Castro, the general manager does something about this cause it’s...
