I'm baffled by the abundance of 5-star reviews raving about the delectable dishes here. Let's begin with the Thai cuisine flagship - the Tom Yum soup. What we received was a mildly salty and sour broth containing ordinary champignon halves and a few pieces of mundane chicken breast that had never graced this broth before. Not to mention the absence of tom yam paste, lemongrass, kaffir leaves, cherry tomatoes and chili pepper – a far cry from an authentic Tom Yum. The tuna tataki, instead of being raw, was transformed into cooked tuna (I shudder to think why) and was accompanied by unexciting soy sauce instead of the expected unagi. The soft shell crab was a disappointment, with a whopping 90% deep-fried breading and the same soy sauce accompaniment. It seems like there were no other sauce options available that day. As for the entree - signature duck, the meat was acceptable but a tad dry. However, the sauce was a complete letdown, as it seemed the chef had inexplicably added cheap red wine without reducing it, resulting in a terrible taste that marred the entire dish. This is basic culinary knowledge and displays a lack of professionalism. it would be better if the cook would also add soy sauce instead current :))) The sashimi sampler was the only redeeming aspect, given that it's difficult to mess up. On the plus side, the waitress provided good service. I can't fathom why people would give glowing 5-star reviews to such inauthentic, low-quality food... It's as if they've never had an authentic Thai meal before, never was in Thailand, leading them to "always have a wonderful experience here”.

Tub Thim Thai is an exquisite Thai food gem in the heart of West Palm Beach. Everything we ordered was delicious, satisfying, and fresh. The dishes had depth of flavor, the mark of a skilled chef. Tub Thim also had many gluten-free options! I started with the Tom Kha soup - a rich and frothy coconut milk broth with chicken, mushrooms, lemongrass, and cilantro. Each bite kept me wanting more. The soup had the perfect balance of sweet, sour, and umami. It truly warmed me to the soul. My dad started off with the wonton soup, which he said was “outstanding and hearty!” For my main, I ordered the chicken stir fry in ginger sauce with brown rice. The sauce was subtle, with a hint of heat from ginger. The veggies were cooked to a perfect al dente. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. The salt content of the dish was just perfect - very light and not too much salt. Tub Thim gives generous portions as well, and I have some leftover for lunch tomorrow! The staff, owner, and chef are friendly and all came to our table to introduce themselves. The ambience is warm and inviting. I highly recommended Tub Thim Thai for a flavorful dinner that is sure to turn your day around for the better.

We came in and were seated promptly. After being seated we pretty much was ignored for 15-20 minutes. It wasn’t until seeing two other tables (who came in after us) in our section being served that I asked who our waitress was. Was told our waitress would be informed but after waiting some more (and contemplating on leaving and going elsewhere for dinner) we eventually was served by the waitress serving our area. Food was delicious and reasonable. I had the White Sangria, Tom Kha with Shrimp, Fried Calamari, Crab Rangoon, Soft Shell Crab, Thai Dumplings, Lobster Bomb, and the Fried Banana. Management seemed to check in on the tables around us and once again we were ignored. The waitress that did end up serving us was great but still we left with a bitter taste from being repeated overlooked. I would still highly recommend this place and will give them another try since this was my first time here.

I love Thai cuisine and usually order from Kabuki . I wanted to try some place different and decided to google Thai restaurants near my work place. Tub Tim had some good review so I placed an order.

I had order Tofu Tom gha soup with rice and their Thai fresh roll( also known as spring roll).

Firstly, I want to say the moment I saw the color of the soup, I knew the food is questionable. I gave them benefit of the doubt. I opened the box that contained the Thai roll and thought to myself “ ok, it might be ok.” The Thai roll looks legit even thought presentation might be a little off.

I dived right into the Thai roll first and dipped it in their peanut sauce ( spring roll sauce is contains hoisen and peanut sauce giving it a sweet and salty taste. It is deep in color similar to bbq sauce) and was quickly disappointed. The sauce is too sweet and and the roll had no flavor .

About the soup: Anyone who is familiar with Thai cuisine know that Tom Gha or Tom Yum soup has a slight tint of red in the broth. Asian cuisine is a balance of sweet, salty, spicy and vinegary flavors mashed together . The red color in the broth derives from chili paste . This broth was milky white . There was no color at all!! Again, I tried to be open-minded. The broth lacked flavor and it appears they just threw the tofu in without cooking it or anything. Not only did not look appetizing, the tofu were chopped in huge chunks in oddly shaped . I will not order from here again and hopefully I do not get...

My first visit and as with any new experience i was skeptical.. well that went away as soon as i walked in. Lets start with the atmosphere, it was warm and inviting, extremely well thought out and it wasnt done cheaply, they did a great job of creating an environment you wouldnt be embarassed to bring a date or a client from work. The next oart you experience is the service, a warm and inviting greeting and seated where you want if you have a preference, even outside. Now the menu, i came for Sushi and let me tell you it was outstanding! I started with a Hamachi Jalepeno appetizer... Wow.. so good if you like a little heat this is a must try. Then the Kanisu roll which was light and wrapped in cucumber so it is a little different but refreshing with some shrimp and crabstick inside and set in a light rice vinagar.. seriously do this roll! Then i had some Wahoo sashimi, the Mackey roll and the May roll, the Wahoo sashimi was so fresh and i was surprised by the thick slices, it i light taste with a clean finish.. my favorite sashimi aling with Tuna and Toro. The May roll was another winner, you wont be dissapointed, and finally the Mackey roll.. just delicious with the spicy Ponzu sause they served with it.. overall outstanding. I will be back and hopefully you will...
