Saw the pictures online of these burgers, so I just had to give them a try. Got the custom cheeseburger and loaded fries.
The burger itself was definitely not Angus beef, as the menu says. It was a cheap frozen Costco or Bubba burger patty. The patty itself had no taste at all and was cooked well done (I wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked). I don't think it was even seasoned. It came out super fast and I noticed the bread was a smushed potato bun, the inside burnt to hell. Definitely not the nice sesame bun in the promotional photos. I asked for the burger with everything, but the guy either misheard me or didn't care, because it came with onions, pickles, ketchup, and BBQ sauce (BBQ sauce? Okay, weird). All I could taste was the sauce and pickles.
The loaded fries were okay at best. The fries themselves are nice, but drenched in nuclear cheese and topped with some lazily, quick, barely cooked bacon. Nothing special. Just these two items were $18 (without drinks) which is so ridiculous, when I can get a WAY better burger at McDonald's or Burger King....
Read moreWent with Venezuelan friends that were here for vacations from Toronto and were craving for something that brought memories of their land and they left extremely happy! The burgers were amazing! It was hard to make a choice when looking at the menu because, honestly, I wanted to have them all. I ended up ordering La Reina and my wife the Burda burger. Let me add that they had a special that consisted of 2 burgers (all of them with the exception of 2 burgers), 2 portions of fries, and 2 beverages for only $20. In my opinion, that’s a great promotion they have! My two friends ordered the Burda burger and the Venezuelan Cowboy. We were all delighted. I’ve read people complaining that the burgers are too small for the price but no, they are regular sized and well made. They use fresh ingredients and are burgers that you don’t find in other places. They fries were also tasty. We didn’t put any toppings no them but still very good. Sorry, we didn’t have time to take pictures as we were super hungry. Burda is 100%...
Read moreBack in Venezuela, the location where you could find "street food" is usually called "Calle del Hambre". Today, I went to that location here in Doral since I had to pick up our dinner at Burda. Burda is a burgers street food truck that serves delicious hamburgers with a mix of culinary flavors and textures. Their fee is affordable for a regular budget and the quality is superb. The attention from their staff makes you feel valued and it invites you to go back.
Totally recommend! PS: try the Frenchie Burger with...
