If you want authentic, fresh, French baked pastries and breads that are delicious and served every day, you have to go to Carole’s Place Cafe & French Bakery in East Naples, Florida!

Having visited this establishment more than a few times, I can count on my fingers how many other French bakery shops meet up to the high standards of this true, French Parisian pastry shop. None come close!

My usual ritual, when I arrive at Carole's Place, is to order their fabulous flaky almond paste croissant with a double expresso! While waiting for my treat, I listen to the wonderful comments made by other customers who anxiously await their pastries and drinks. Comments like “Wow, I never knew a pastry shop like this is in Naples.”, “This bakery is a gem and I love bringing my family here.” It is a delight to listen to their comments about Carole’s special of the day and view their array of French pastries such as Babka muffins, Beignets, Chocolate French Avalanche, Chocolate mouse with French cream, to name a few. They also serve avocado toast, bagels with scrambled eggs, quiche, fruit tarts, cookies, pancakes, salads and specialty hot and cold beverages! All her baking uses real cane sugar and butter providing the best ingredients with no artificial substitutes or extracts. Many of her ingredients are sourced from around the world! So many fresh options to choose from!

This is truly an authentic breakfast and lunch place. Carole Dahan, the owner, is expanding next door to create more space where people can have a greater experience of different type of desserts from France. Carole also wants to bring to the community, specialty coffees not commonly found.

As she quoted "I want the community to have an experience and know that we are not only a business but we care about our community. The goal is to franchise Carole Place so a lot more people can have the real French experience of roasted coffees from different countries!” Wow, a true believer of supporting her community needs!

Now let's talk about service, its the best! They have plenty of seating space. Every server is friendly, warm and knowledgeable about the ingredients used in all the pastries and sandwiches. And the place is spotless. I highly recommend Carole’s Place Cafe & French Bakery in East Naples,...

Just a honest review. 4 stars because the guy at the counter who helped us was amazing! Super attentive and friendly and have wonderful service and made the experience a good one. We’ll be back to try other things but I was disappointed in the avocado toast and don’t recommend that item. It doesn’t state the bread on the menu but it came with Rye and that’s the only bread I really don’t like. Didn’t want to make a fuss so I scraped the avocado off the bread and wasn’t a fan of that either, I’ve been in the industry a long time and it tasted like the smashed avocado in a bag instead of fresh avocado. :/ the coffee was good but there was no specialty items and more of a coffee with syrups to choose from situation. Carole's House Café is located in the corner of the plaza just south of the East Naples Library. The space inside is small with table seating for about ten people and a counter area for another five. Featured in the center of the restaurant is a small gazebo area with a couple of cozy chairs. There are a couple of outdoor seating areas in this plaza that can accommodate more if the weather is nice. There were TVs playing both American and French news. Orders are taken at the counter here and then the food is brought to your table when ready. They specialize in French pastries, but make breakfast and lunch plates, including sandwiches. The service was very friendly on my visit and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. Everything was fresh and made as ordered with high-quality ingredients.
