I got the app because I was told if I went to chick fil a a lot I could get points and rewards. I ordered online and selected the curbside option and it said to park in a designated spot underneath of a curbside sign, I did not see this sign in the parking lot so I parked in one of the spaces by the side door. I waited 15 minutes before getting concerned and the app had told me my food was ready. Someone walked out the door, looked around for a second and I was waving them down and they turned around and went back inside. I went inside and waited another 10 minutes before I was noticed and by the time I got a hold of someone and told them about my order, I got my food and it was cold and I couldn’t even complain because I was hungry and had to get to work. I decided to give them another chance two days later and I tried the curbside again but this time parked online the spaces next to the drive thru because there were no other spots. Again I waited about 10 minutes and watched the drive thru move along and had to go inside for my food again. I don’t mind doing carry out, I’m not lazy but I didn’t expect the curbside to take as long as it did. On top of waiting as long as I did to get my food, I was ecstatic to finally receive it and when I reached my destination to get, the order I had was completely wrong and it had items that I redeemed points for as well as my free 8 piece nugget reward. I ended up with a completely different order with a spicy chicken sandwich and hash browns....
Read moreWhat a lovely place to have a meal. This restaurant is located on the south side of US 520 (East Merritt Island Causeway). It is a stand-alone building in front (north side) of the Merritt Island Mall. Since it is in the middle of the mall parking lot, there is a lot of parking around it. This chain traces its roots back to Hapeville, Georgia in 1946 and has since grown to over 2500 stores worldwide. This store is nicer than most I have visited. It has indoor and outdoor dining and a drive-through line. I have done the drive-through many times but decided to dine in this time. I am glad I did. The inside is very tastefully appointed with a mix of seating options for large or small groups from short to tall, from booths to short and long tables. The tables and floor all appeared clean and well-kept. You order at the counter and can pay with your app, card, or cash. The staff that took my order was very polite, professional, and friendly. The prices were reasonable. They gave me my drinks and a marker before I left the counter. I chose my seat and they brought my fresh food. It was hot and delicious. I had hash browns and a biscuit. Both were excellent. I would recommend this for anyone wanting a good meal in the...
Read moreThis owner doesn’t believe in sending rewards to customers. I’ve been eating here 2-3 times a week since they opened, solely because it’s easier than going into the mall location, and I’ve only received one reward...and it was because they were out of breakfast sandwiches well before 10am, and they were crediting my reward back. I get more rewards from Texas, New Smyrna, Viera, and St. Cloud locations and I don’t visit those as often as I eat here. It’s very poor customer service in my opinion.
In regards to the food, it’s a good location, however their carry out needs a lot of help. The employees are bad about setting the completed orders on the counter opposite of where they tell you to go to pick up your order. Most of the time I find myself having to go get my own food from the other side of the ordering counter since it doesn’t seem like their priority.
If this location can improve on their customer service, they’d get a better rating from me, but I think the convenience of this location is creating such good profits for the owner/manager..why would they need to “reward” or “thank” their customers for continuing to visit this location, or worry about improving the...
