Almost every time my wife and I order take out from this restaurant the food in some way is not cooked or prepared correctly. I dont know why we ordered from here this evening but we did. I want pizza but my wife said let's get Chili's I thought to myself some how some way they are going to mess it up yet again. My wife left the house to go pick it up. I had just gotten home from a long day at the office and was very hungry. My wife gets home shortly after I did. Which the Chili's is a half a mile from our home. Expecting to receive warm to hot food we both had cold food. Myfries and burger were cold. The chips that came with the queso tasted stale and the queso was the consistency of soft clay and did not taste right. My wifes chicken was not even warm or her mash potatoes. The lettace on my burger was brown rotten and soggy the tomato on my burger was not even cored it still had the green hard center where the stem was on it. The tomato was gritty and soggy. The lady that took the order over the phone told my wife it would be 20 mins till it was ready. My wife showed up at exactly 20 mins. My wife walked in and the lady was packing up our order my wife payed and came home. The very first thing I noticed when I opened the container that had my burger and fries were cold. The hamburger meat patty was very hot at one point I know this because the patty had melted the styrofoam container inside of the container and my burger was stuck to the container I pulled it off and there was melted styrofoam on my burger. My wife also asked to have the burger cooked medium or little pink, well it was burnt to a crisp and charred. Making parts of the meat not edible. I am so sick of not getting what is expected and for what we payed for. Another evening ruined yet again by this Chili's. Thanks Chili's yet again for completely ruining my and my wifes dinner again. If you want overcooked food or undercooked food go here they are great for messing up your order. We did get our money back but only after asking for full refund I ended up throwing it all out. I can guarantee that none of the people that work there would of eaten the food that we were charged for. We will see what they want to do about this in response. My quess is that they want me or my wife to call them to talk to them about it. My quess is that they just don't t care. Read moreIs unfortunate how two Chili's Grill & Bar managers responsible for the customer service located at Lithia Pincrest Rd, Valrico treated my spouse and me during our visit last night. We are accustomed to bring our small emotional support pet (Rosalie) to lunch or dinner to numerous restaurants in the Tampa, Brandon, Valrico, etc. We are very respectful to other patron’s personal space and always request to be seated at a table that will not interfere or make other customers uncomfortable. We place and keep our Rosalie in a doggy stroller prior to entering the establishments to ensure she is not intrusive in any manner. We have NEVER, I say again we have NEVER had any issues with our pet in any other restaurants except the Chili’s located at Lithia Pincrest Rd. Last night was and will be my final visit to the entire Chili’s food chain due to the lack of training the mangers receive serving and respecting the customers. We order our food and order a small portion of steam broccoli for Rosalie that will place in the doggy stroller on her plate thus she can enjoy her dinner while we eat ours. Katrina, manager on shift, approached our table and told us she will not bring out the broccoli for our pet and if she sees us feeding our pet, she would kick us out of the restaurant. I really had to keep my cool after having a bad day and was looking forward to a relaxing dinner with the family, and didn’t response to her unprofessional and immature comments. Her choice of words were not of someone who should represent the Chili’s Corporation and be in contact with the customers wanting to dine at their locations. Katrina received her instructions from a higher manager (Joe Stroll – maybe misspelled), not only does Katrina lacks the customer service skills and abilities to serve in her position but her senior leader Joe Stroll is probably worst. The behavior of these mangers reflects the lack of professionalism and maturity no customer should experience at any establishments. She could have addressed the situation differently by politely requesting we adjust on how we feed our Rosalie. I strongly believe the fundamental cause of the managers’ behavior was a racially discriminatory motivated. This was the second time I had issues in the same restaurant; first time was in a more respectful approach by a bartender acting as senior person on site.

Read moreI do not lightly write a negative review but I feel compelled to share my latest experience. Both I and my son ordered the 10oz steak and when our meal arrived I immediately noticed that my steak was half the size of my son's steak. I told the server that I got the six ounce by mistake and she quickly explained that I was mistaken and my steak was just thicker. I had to pick up both steaks with forks to show her they were the same thickness but mine was much smaller in circumference. She went to get another waiter who confirmed right away that the steak on my plate was a 6 ounce. She told me that I could keep that steak and they would prepare another 6 ounce for me. I told her that was fine. I ordered my steak medium rare but the first was cooked medium well and the second was extremely rare. It was so heavily drenched in garlic butter that I had to wipe it off to taste the steak. This experience was one of several I have had recently that was a marked difference from when I wrote a glowing review a year ago. We often order online and recently noticed we could not order the mushroom burger anymore and the menu had been changed. This is the third time we presented a coupon when we ordered only to have to have the server correct the bill because they failed to honor it. I have noticed a great many new faces recently and that combined with the menu changes and the rapid decline in quality makes me wonder if they have changed their business model. I will not go back to this location for at least a while and I fear this may be a chain wide issue. I may try them again in a year or so to see if they have realized and corrected the problems.
