China Taste — Restaurant in Florida

I’ve found that you need to try a variety of meals at any restaurant before deciding if it’s for you or not.

We started with Moo Shu pork which has been my favorite for the last 20 years at my old house in NC. The China Taste recipe was unfortunately not for me. We also had the Sweet and Sour Chicken which was very good and a keeper.

We then tried the Garlic Chicken and the Bourbon Chicken. The Garlic Chicken was awesome and a keeper. The Bourbon Chicken seasoning was good but the chicken was dry. We tried it a second time and it was still dry so off the list.

Next we tried the Mongolian Pork and the House Special Lo Mein. Both were terrific and keepers.

Although we would not reorder 2 of the 6 dishes we tried, I’m giving it a 5 star rating because this restaurant uses the freshest vegetables I’ve ever had in a Chinese restaurant and the meat portions are just right! Each Chinese restaurant, like any restaurant may have dishes you prefer or don’t like…it’s about giving it a chance til you find...

The worse Chinese ever.!!! I've been sick with the flu after 5days I felt like eating so i decided to treat myself to Chinese. My normal place is across town so I decided to try China taste. Having 2 young children I called in my order. I repeated General Tao chicken 3 times during our conversation. I go pick it up the lady looks in the bags multiple times & finally decided one was mine. I get home. My stomach turned general Tao chicken was sometype.of mushy chicken & onions. Chicken chow mein he said when I called how do you get chow mein from general Tao. I called complain...I had no energy to return so I told him they wouldn't get my money again.so I decided to eat it to many starving people to waste it. I cld not get it down it tasted like cat food smells. If it or the rice had any spices including salt u cldnt taste it. I had also ordered beef teriyaki...to tough to eat. Egg roll was fried so long it looked like petrified wood. CHINA TASTE HAS LEFT A BAD...

I'm mad as a hornet. I ordered beef n broccoli last night with a side of bourbon sauce. Well I went back tonight and ordered the same thing. It weighed about 1/2 as much as it did last night. There was no sauce in it, the bourbon sauce was barley half full and when I said something about the weight and bourbon sauce (which you have to pay a dollar for a small cup (other place gives you 3x the sauce for a dollar)) the young girl flippant said oh its so it doesn't spill and that they have a new cook the turns around and ignors me while i stand there..... then I get home and the rice container isn't full either..... So I will not return or spend a dime in this place ever again unless the owner makes it right. I suggest you all do the same, because they will short change your food and then blow you off like you as customer doesn't matter. Bad bad experience here today which means they are going to loose at lease 4-6k in the next year of my...
