The people that work here at night are the most incompetent people I have ever seen. I NEVER post reviews but this….I had to. I placed an order online through my APP, very simple order. A taco kids meal, chicken, cheese, rice, & chips. I get to the store to pick my order up & they inform me (after I arrived) that they were out of chicken & it would take about 20 mins to cook so I said that was fine & So I waited. They pack my order up & off I go. I get home, take the box out of the bag, open it & there is NO CHICKEN!! Not even the wrong kind of meat literally NO MEAT, no cheese & no chips. There was an orange in the bag, rice & soft taco shells. Now you literally cooked the chicken because I said I would wait, so I sat at the table, you tell me it’s ready but no chicken. You were cooking the chicken FOR ME!!! So I proceed to call the restaurant a few times and they answer, put me on hold a few minutes later pick up the phone then hang up, this happened every time I called. I go BACK to the restaurant and tell them what happened & that I need the chicken, cheese & chips well guess what the girl at the counter says to me “We are OUT of chicken! Ok so as you can imagine I was seeing red! I kept my cool and I said “What your out of chicken? You literally just made some for me a few mins ago & never gave it to me!” A male employee hears me talking and says you need chicken & I say yes and hands me a container of it, I say I need cheese & chips also. He hands that to me & I leave mad as a hornet! I have called them for 2 days & cannot speak to a human so I am now going to corporate. I feel that not having an option to speak to a human is very unprofessional. There was no manager on duty Sat. night to even speak to. Very frustrating that I waited for chicken to be cooked & then ended up not getting any. 🙄 I am not looking for free food but just someone to be held accountable & these issues addressed. Sad. Read moreI'm taking the time to write a detailed review because we can either hold these places to a higher standard (or at least a mediocre standard) or we can take our money elsewhere. I'll most likely choose the latter. Steak was dry and chewy and the queso was luke warm and lumpy. Chips were stale. Are they supposed to be warm? If so, they were not. I didn't even get a "thank you" after paying. Why does the CUSTOMER thank the cashier? Because we are more friendly than they are. I just happened to give exact change and the girl handling the money couldn't understand that I wanted dollar bills back. She had the missing nickel in her other hand the entire time. She finally figured it out and gave correct change. We were there about an hour. A total of 4 guests at 2 tables in dining room while we watched and ate. There wasn't a SINGLE clean table in the dining room. I couldn't believe it. We cleaned our table with a napkin. Nobody came out to clean the dirty tables for 45 minutes. A few people trickled in, some for takeout and a couple to dine in. When a kid finally came out from the kitchen, he used a napkin to pick up food bits on the floor and then used the SAME napkin to pick food bits off multiple dirty tables. He disappeared and came back to fill ice machine. I though maybe he'd at least use some disinfectant on the tables first. EVERY SINGLE guest group cleaned their own tables with paper napkins. The entire hour, there were more workers behind the counter than guests, so I'm not buying the idea that these kids are "overworked." Chipotle used to be pretty good. I've been to several. I don't remember the dining area ever being so dirty. We were not impressed in the least. I can see why the majority of people took their food home. Lets start with the food. The rice, both white and brown looked horrible... old. The beans were so dried out, that I skipped the beans. The meats looked horrific. The pork looked the most edible, but tasted like it was soaked in lime juice.... no flavor. The veggies, there were none. You had a choice of bad pico or old corn. Then for the red sauce or geen sauce , usually I get both. The green was so dried up that it was stuck to the pan. The sour cream was so watered down that it was the consistency of soup. No taste. Guacamole actually tasted good and the lettuce was fine. What happened to the platters that the food is served on? Bagged up everyones food without asking here or to go. When I asked if we could eat in the lobby, the response was "Sure, but I've already started bagging it." Rings us up and gives us the total and doesnt even ask if we want drinks. Felt I was asking for something I shouldnt have. And to say the chips tasted like someone forgot to close the bag as they were stale as hell.
Now for the lobby. You would think with this Covid, all public eating areas would be spic and span. Totally the opposite. There was food everywhere. The floors were disgustingly filthy. The tables, chairs and benches, just food droppings everywhere. All the garbage cans were over flowing. I felt disgusted to the point, I was thinking how nasty it is out here, what does it look like where I cant see. I just stopped eating. We both threw our food away and left.
I will never step foot in that place again. It needs to be steamed cleaned and sanitized....
