Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Florida

I can't say I didn't see this coming.. I arrived here about 12 mins before 10am, knowing that they open at 10. At 10 sharp I proceeded to the drive-thru and was surprised to hear their automated message system play. So I drove up to the Window and the young man inside waved at me solidifying they were closed. So I returned the favor and put my arms up and shrugged my shoulders as in "when?" He then gave me a great 'air high five' letting me know another Five Minutes..... So I actually just eased my vehicle up a few feet and stayed at the front of the drive-thru. 6 or so minutes pass and low and behold as I get to the order microphone I get the same auto message. So I pull up to the Window yet again, and this time he actually opens up the window... Another 5 mins he says, and shuts the window. It's now about 15 mins passed opening time.. Let's move on the when I finally did get my food, the fries were lukewarm as if they had Fried those first then let them sit while they cooked the chicken. The quality of food was not so great either. I look passed a lot of things but this was just a horrible experience!! Something needs to change. Management needs to get on top of the issues...

I had a chance to visit this location once since my arrival in Florida. I was excited about this visit, because the ones in my city/state Ohio had closed down. This location is in a high crime/poverty area. The exterior of the building is in poor condition and unkept. Lots of homeless/and wanderers near. I ordered a 2 piece white meal with an extra biscuit, and two kids meals. After reviewing my receipt, I noticed I was charged for a 3 piece mix. So, I decided to go inside, and was locked inside with a few other patrons. I tried explaining to the cashier girl that my order was incorrect and she stated there was really no difference between a 2 piece “white” and a 3piece mix. She also stated pricing was nearly the same. I explained to her that I did not want dark meat and that there’s a difference. When my food was ready, I checked my orders, and lord behold I was still given dark meat. The manager guy had to not only give me the correct pieces of meat, but also give me the extra biscuit I ordered that she forgot to place with the order. I was also given fries when I ordered mash as a side. While the chicken was hot, the biscuits were hard...

I’ve been to this location before but this time around was the worst experience. My husband went through the drive thru & asked for the $30 SPICY Texas sized meal, they said they didn’t have it. Me and my husband didn’t mind waiting so we asked how long until they can make more & they immediately had an attitude saying it would be 20 minutes. We said that was fine we’ll come back. When we returned we went though the drive thru again saying we came back for the spicy chicken. They still seemed to have an attitude and just told us to pull to the window. We tried to use a coupon from their website for a free apple pie since we ordered a large family meal, they refused to even look at the coupon & said “we don’t give anything for free so we can’t use that coupon” we didn’t mind if that was the case so we said that was fine & paid. Got home, chicken was NOT spicy (after waiting a coming back), mash potatoes were bland asl, “honey butter” biscuits were dry, salty and not buttered. Mac & cheese was okay. Service & staff is 0 stars. Called 3 to let them know we didn’t get spicy to see if they could resolve the problem, NO answer, Voicemail box...
