If I could give them way more than 5 stars, I would. We got red snapper and Key West Pink Shrimp to grill at home. Wow, this was better than most fancy seafood restaurants. The shrimp almost melt in the mouth and the red snapper was hearty but yet delicate. So fresh! This is the type of quality I expect a very high end seafood restaurants. It is nice to get such high quality at home. Highly recommend. Also, this makes this a little nicer, but the the man who waited on us was so nice and pleasant. It is old fashioned customer service. Definitely will shop here...

I'm a longtime resident of Bradenton and found the best fish market in town!! The Cortez Bait and Seafood market offers the best prices on stone crab claws! Believe me...I called every place from Bradenton to Sarasota. The service is friendly and they even cracked the claws for me...a plus! Not only stone crab, but awesome fish and shrimp. I was pleasantly surprised when I was offered a piece of smoked amberjack. OMG! tender and succulent! He makes his fish spread from this and it is awesome!! I live in the area year round. Nice folks. I’ve never purchased any seafood here that was not fresh. I am single and they are kind about my smaller purchases;thus, when guests are in town I frequent for large purchases. I love the royal pink shrimp, shrimp salads, and variety of local fish - Snapper etc. Whole and filets. Frozen or fresh. Nice selection of seasonings and beach easy accompaniments available as well. Went in during covid and they wiped my payment card and pen...
