My family and I had a remarkable customer service experience at Culver's today, and I want to share the heartwarming details.
Our journey began at Panda Express earlier in the day. Unfortunately, we didn't receive any greeting or acknowledgment despite standing just a few feet away from an employee. After waiting patiently for a few minutes, we decided to go to Culver's, known for its exceptional customer service, great food, and perfect custard.
Upon arriving at Culver's, we were met with a bustling scene. Employees were moving swiftly behind the counter, and the manager, Thomas (I believe that was his name), was efficiently managing everything. As we approached the counter, we were greeted by a warm smile. We placed our food order, received our drink cups and order number, and made our way to find a table in the dining area.
While walking behind our 2 year old daughter, who was carrying our order number, she had an unfortunate stumble, resulting in a fall into a corner of a booth divider, which left her with a noticeable gash on her forehead. Recognizing the seriousness of the situation, my wife, who happens to be a nurse, advised us to head to a Stat Care facility immediately. On our way out, we stopped by the counter to explain what had happened and asked them not to worry about our order.
As we were loading into the car, I noticed the manager chasing after us. He kindly inquired about the situation, and we assured him that our daughter would be fine. He even asked what we had ordered and generously provided us with vouchers to make up for our hasty exit.
We also sought his guidance on the nearest hospital or Stat Care, and he promptly directed us to a pediatric Stat Care facility just around the corner – a fortunate coincidence!
After the challenging experience at Stat Care with 5 stitches and lots of screaming, we were famished and returned to Culver's. Upon explaining our earlier visit, the same staff member who had taken our initial order came to the register. They assured us that we would be taken care of, as if they hadn't already gone above and beyond. They even offered a custard with sprinkles and a plush toy for our daughter, which truly brightened her spirits.
Another employee, who had witnessed the incident earlier, asked about our daughter's well-being and wished her a swift recovery.
Although it was likely our most expensive Culver's trip ever, costing around $500.
In closing, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the entire Culver's team. We chose to dine here due to your stellar reputation for customer service, and you surpassed our highest expectations. Thank you for your outstanding...
Read moreLet me start by saying I’m very patient and I am usually not an advocate of leaving negative reviews. However, I have had two bad experiences here. These are the only two times I’ve visited Culver’s in my life.
The first time they forgot my son’s burger, but we did not realize until we got home. So, we picked him up other food instead. Today, I ordered my food and waited patiently in the drive-thru. The people in front of me seemed to get many extra bags of food. Next, the young lady bringing the food out tried to give me the wrong food, which I politely declined. She did not even look at the numbers on the window. After about 15 additional minutes of waiting she tried to give me the wrong food again. When I asked how long it would be or where my food was, she said “she don’t know what happened”.
I then flagged down a younger gentleman and requested help. He was polite and apologized. However after 35 minutes waiting I decided to go inside and request a refund. They assured me my food was being made, but I didn’t want it after the 45 minute debacle. I overheard the staff mention that the girl messed up again. Maybe training is an issue, but as a manager of various sorts for more than 20 years I know finding good employees is tough in this market.
Long story short, I’ll never go there or another Culver’s again. Which may be the universe’s way of telling me not to eat fast food anyway. Hungry...
Read moreWe visit this location (and others) often as we love Culver's, and don't each much else when it comes to fast food.
This location is always dirty, with stinky, overflowing trash (that can be smelled from quite a distance), filthy tables, and there are odors and spilled foods all over the soda and condiment area. Disgusting. And usually there are employees standing around, giggling and flirting with one another while these things go un-addressed. So it's not a short-staff issue, it's just an inattentive-staff issue, at least from what I've seen.
Also they almost always get our order wrong. For example, my husband always orders whipped cream on his concrete mixer and they almost never actually give it. Despite us paying a 70¢ upcharge for it. And they never remember to hand over cups/drinks.
And they routinely make the custards and then just set them down to melt, without calling for us or delivering them. And the custard from this store is always half-melted to begin with , compared to all other stores who serve it hard.
So could use some improvements.
That said the hot food is usually great - I like: single butter burger basket onion rings corn dog chili cheddar fries
My husband likes the concrete mixers, though at this location, they do come SUPER soft, unlike all other locations we've...
