First Watch? More like First WOW. We popped our First Watch cherry today and wow — what a ride. It was like brunch took us out on a date, told us we were pretty, and then paid the bill. Let’s start with the Barbacoa breakfast tacos: pure magic. I’m talking ā€œwhere-have-you-been-all-my-life?ā€ kind of magic. I paired them with the Million Dollar Potatoes, and let me tell you — those spuds did not come to play. If these potatoes were a person, they'd definitely own a yacht and smell like generational wealth. We also got the Blazing Dragon seasonal drink — not sure if it was named after a mythical beast or a spicy yoga instructor, but either way, it was delicious. Oh, and their orange juice? Fresher than a Gen Z teen on TikTok. Now listen. The Million Dollar Bacon? Worth every (hypothetical) million dollars. I would write it into my will if I could. My mom ordered the Avocado Toast because she’s on that ā€œI’m trying to be goodā€ vibe — she added salmon and was raving about it like she just discovered Netflix for the first time. And then there’s Tommy, our server. Bless him. It was our first time, and he guided us like a brunch Sherpa. He gave recommendations, cracked jokes, and didn’t even flinch when we asked 47 questions. Give that man a raise or at least a crown. Now... the only thing that threw me off was the cups. They looked like they survived a small kitchen apocalypse. Like, were they in a street fight? There were scratches, and questionable smudge situations. I requested straws because the vibe was giving ā€œdon’t put your mouth here.ā€ I get it — dishwashers at restaurants have one job and it’s not glamor. But still. Final verdict? Food: šŸ”„ Service: šŸ‘‘ Cups: 😬 Experience: 10/10, will return — but next time I’m bringing my own Yeti...

Second and last time we come to this location. First time we got a table where water was dripping from the ceiling, the server told us it was normal in this building. Which we now realize it is not. The table was last table to the right of the bar. We sat at a different table and we did not get water drips today. But, the issue today was 1- place stinks like eggs and 2- the server treated us very bad. She comes and asks if we are ready to order right after we had sat down, no time to think about what we want to order, we said we are not ready. She leaves and literally doesn’t come back until 10 mins later. Long story short, she forgot the toast that I ordered in addition to my food. We had no utensils, my husband had to get up and get some from another table because we got our food and she never showed up until I was half way through my food, I reminded her of the toast at this point. And to end it even worse, she didn’t even ask if we wanted anything else. Brought the bill and told us we could pay with the QR or by the exit….felt like we were being kicked out!!!! This was an hr prior to closing time. Worth noting that I wanted to order an ice coffee and my daughter wanted another drink order and we decided to just leave and buy it from Starbucks. Second time we are mistreated here and last. We recently moved to this side of town and I rather drive somewhere else than be treated like second hand garbage. We left 2 cents tip for Shelby. I really hope she reads this…so she sees what happens when you treat people like that. Here is...

Wanted to try the newest one opened by us. Sad to say they need more time to iron out the kinks I think .. say right away yay that was great but then waited over 23 minutes before we had to ask someone Whose our server. Waited more and seems maybe the manager? came and got our drink order ( coffee) and food order. Waiting again but noticing tables after us got their drink orders and water already. Still waiting for coffee. We can’t believe it. Been to other first watch restaurants and never seen service like this. Sad …. Now we are becoming agitated and asked again watching the maybe the manager walking and seating guests. Can we get our coffee please. She shared something about waiting for a pot ? Just wow overall. I don’t want to relive it .. rough experience, not enjoyable at all for A Sunday morning , lovely weather out. To come to get bad service to turn our mood. Food came took a while too. In the end we will wait months before coming back just to retry. But for now hoping the learning curve on Service and Timing kicks in. Sorry for this...

Came in for a weekday lunch. Place was crowded, but they had a table for us. Friendly and helpful servers. Good size menu. The coffee was hot, and the tea was fresh. I got the chicken chorizo breakfast tacos with some of the burrito sauce on the side. The tacos were pretty good. Warm tortillas, decent avocado, and overcooked eggs. My biggest gripe with the food was that the beans are canned. Like they opened a can of black beans, barely warmed it up, scooped it in a ramekin, and topped it with pico. Just bad. With such a normal breakfast menu, I'm not expecting daily house made beans, but damn. My dining partner had a turkey sandwich that she loved. The home fries that she was served were aggressively seasoned. It takes a lot of salt for a potato to get that salty. They weren't bad, but it was kind of a game of Russian roulette. Sometimes you'd run into a super salty potato. All in all, a nice place, but I think they could step up the food a little.
