Del Taco — Restaurant in Florida

I really wanted to like this place. I honestly felt bad for the employees, well employee. I originally went through the drive through and the voice over the intercom stated that they are not doing drive through orders, but I was welcomed to come inside; which we did. There was about 7 total people inside, with 3 in line. I stood in line and and my order was taken quick and we sat down in a booth to wait for our food. After about 10 minutes, I look up from my phone, yes, I know, so typical to have my face buried in my phone like the entire world population nowadays, when I noticed, besides everyone else being nose deep into their phones, that no one had any food?? I looked behind the counter and I only seen one young girl doing everything. She was definitely trying her best. Other people came in and left, they must of noticed what I finally noticed too late. It was well over a half hour before me and daughter got our food, and it wasn't very good. I even wondered if what I was eating is what I ordered. I am sure whatever happened that day was temporary due to unforeseen staffing issues, but the thing to consider is, even if they had a full staff, would the food of been that much better from...

We go every week to Del Taco for Taco Tuesday. When they opened it wasn’t bad . People did some complaining , but we never had an issue . Our order is standard ( 2 Del Taco specials -6 tacos total- and a large fry. Well this last 2 months have been hilarious with the shenanigans . 6 weeks ago they were out of fries , 5 weeks ago they were out of beef , 4 weeks ago they were out of hot sauce and waited 30 minutes for them to heat up beef , 3 weeks ago they were out of regular taco shells , 2 weeks ago they only had street tacos ( smaller shells ) and this week no lettuce . Unfortunately the management is not doing what is needed to properly run this location. The employees try but what can they do when there is no product ? After 2 years of faithful patronage we’ve decided it’s time to move on from Del Taco. I don’t recommend them now. You will be disappointed in some way shape or form. Maybe after a year or so we may try again but as of now we just can’t keep wondering what they will be out of and paying for product we don’t get . It is going to take a good manager and staff to turn this around . I hope it...

I'm a VA transplant so Del Taco is new to me. A few months ago we tried it and was hooked.

Today is valentine's day and my husband and I decided to stop in and take it home. It was a long day.

They were running a 2 person crew the lobby was dead and the drive thru was dead. Yes I was greeted, but I insited they catch up and waited. I waited for about 10 minutes then put my order in. Cool. It was as I waited for my food that I sat back and watched. By that time 2 more people showed up and one up front on the line, the other disappeared. The skinny dude with locs seemed to be the only one trying to get the orders out. Tall kid stood in the front window like he was just there for decoration, couldn't even keep orders straight. The Chubby kid was too busy on his phone as he and tall kid debated something.

The salad was right but missing the dressing and only had 3 chips on it. The fires were like cardboard. The burrito was falling apart. I said nothing and left. I'm just going to find another location and cross my fingers. They lost me on my second visit. Why can't people just take their...
