A hole-in-the-wall place with delicious food! Located in the target plaza on Nine Mile in the far right corner, this little restaurant serves traditional Dominican food! Atmosphere: The space is fairly small because of the location but has a nice ambiance with nice decorations. They also offer outdoor seating that’s great for a sunny day! Service: The ladies there were quick to seat us, take our orders, and bring out our food. Menu items: For our appetizer, we got the Bollitos de Yuca (if I remember correctly) and one of their house specials! The plantains were so yummy, and I loved our selection of meats—all of which were tender and easy to chew. They bring the main dishes out on wooden platters with the sauces in these cute, little wooden bowls. This is a place I plan to revisit!

I would suggest Delicia’s if you want to try some Latin inspired food that’s not one of the multitude of Mexican places in town. The atmosphere is festive and the people that work there make it engaging fun experience. The food is amazing. Our first visit there we got the plate for two Fritura Dominicana and it was piled high with tasty smoked pork, sausage, chicken, carnitas and sweet and savory plantains. The meal was huge could easily have fed four. We came back for something a bit smaller the next time and I ordered the chicken empanadas, you get two to an order. Perfectly fried with a flavorful filling and a thousand island type of dipping sauce. The wife had the Cuban sandwich with fries and it well balanced meat to bread ratio. Excellent meals both visits

Yum! It took one bite for me to know I was eating comfort food cooked by someone who knows how to handle pork. If you have never had Latin style roast pork, you should eat here. Now. Do yourself that favor. If you like plain rice, go ahead and get it, but the Carridean rice is spot on. Arroz con gandules- the seasoning and ingredient proportions are done very well. I ordered the Chicharron. This is not a dish that appeals to everyone, but if you like it, try theirs. I had several bites that were EXACTLY perfect; crunchy but still silky smooth and creamy. I think this may very well be my new fave place to eat.

It would've been good service as they were friendly. But I asked for today's lunch special, and it was the most expensive chicken I've ever paid for in my life. $22 for a small wing, maybe a quarter breast(with bones), and a little piece, which included the wishbone (not much meat to it). Other than that, I got some rice and beans for $22. That didn't include the $6 for the drink. The food was just better than mediocre, and I may have said pretty decent if it weren't for the price. When someone is asking for a special, that doesn't mean I'm hoping to be screwed out of my money. It means I'd like to eat whatever you're offering at a good price. Over $30 for a simple lunch that would've cost me $10-14 anywhere else. I probably won't be back, and I certainly won't be...

Big shoutout to Esteffania for all her help in facilitating catering services for our Global Block Party event at the University of West Florida! While we only requested appetizers for catering, the bollitos de yuca, tostones, empanadas, croquetas, and maduros were all so yummy and fulfilling in the best possible way! While I may not attest to their dine-in experience nor to their more complex dishes, I believe that if their appetizers can be that delicious, there is no doubt that other dishes will be as well. Needless to say, I would visit their restaurant to have all the appetizers mentioned above all over again; they are that good! Anyways, we are excited that the restaurant is so close to campus, and look forward to working with you all again soon;...
