I am writing to formally express my concerns regarding my recent experience at Panda Express. I was informed that I would need to pay for my order and wait approximately 10 minutes while they prepared fresh mushroom chicken. The staff member taking my order placed my plates to the side and then left for lunch. After waiting for about 10 minutes, another worker asked what I was waiting for, and I explained that I was awaiting freshly prepared food. The manager Tyler advised that there was enough food to fulfill both plates and instructed the staff to proceed, but I was ultimately provided with my order without receiving freshly prepared food. Later, upon inspecting my bag, I realized that my order was incomplete. When I returned to the store, they refused to remake the meal only to provide the missing items, which would take another 10 to 15 minutes. The manager was unconcerned and did not offer an apology, simply citing staffing issues as the reason. I found this response inappropriate, as it did not address my concerns or the quality of service. Additionally, I was only offered a water cup to get soda for the wait. Having a background in customer service for a reputable financial institution, I am familiar with proper customer care standards, which were not upheld in this situation. This experience was unprofessional and reflects poorly on your establishment. As a well-known food influencer, I am concerned about the potential impact this negative review could have if shared publicly.I respectfully request that the staff involved be appropriately reprimanded. When I called the store to obtain the manager’s name, it took multiple attempts to reach someone, which I believe was intentionally delayed. Read moreI tried Panda Express for the first time last month. Since then I've been in about ten times or so at the 9 Mile Rd location near where I live in Pensacola and the food and service has been good, haven't had a complaint... Until today. I ordered the Big Plate. The girl serving me was acting sketchy. She found something in the rice and took it to show the cook then I had to to ask what it was in the rice and she said it was just crusty from where it cooked at the edge. Ok. I asked for the fire steak and shrimp. She already put it on the plate but then told me it would be an upcharge. I agreed but had to make her put the full portion after she put a tiny amount with nothing but vegetables. I then asked for Orange Chicken and Mushroom Chicken which I saw she shorted me on also. So I payed for the food and politely asked to speak to a manager. The manager came out and didn't listen to my complaint. He told me that "I should just go somewhere else" and cursed at me and tried to provoke me to an argument. He immediately started asking me to leave and threatened to call the cops. Because he doesn't want to deal with customer issues? I left with my food, upset and shaking but had to calm down and go back in to ask for his name. One of the workers said it was "Tyler". Yes I did raise my voice after Tyler provoked a confrontation and then acted like victim because I'm paying for my food and the service. By the way I did ask for a refund and Tyler said "No I'm not giving it to you." before he ran back into the back of the store. That manager and server needs to be fired so that cops aren't being called on paying customers as they get short changed on their food and are just trying to ask about the issue. Her customer service was amazing! Ok I ordered white rice and noodles with teriyaki chkn and bringing beef, I waited about 6 mins for fresh beef which was fine, she gave me plenty of food, I wish she took more time to cut my meat thinner since they don't offer plastic knives, the plate looked and smelled soooo good! Ok for the taste I was super excited! And sadly crushed, the noodles were so dry and stiff I wondered what went wrong, no flavor in fact it had no taste just heat,the white rice was fine cooked just fine not under or over cooked, the chkn teriyaki looked burned no flavor of Chinese cuisine anywhere,cut sizes again too big, the Beijing beef looked liked caramelized candy pieces with large onion and carrot pieces it had no Chinese flavors it was chewy and crunchy like eating leather dipped in sweet candied sauce and cooked very hard into a thick rich weirdly flavored tasting end result, this was a bummer for me because i was craving Chinese badly and was very hungry after lunch because the food was below par my teens could have prepared better , I regretted not going...
