We placed an order for 28 pizzas on Tuesday for pick up on Saturday to feed 100 Riverview High band kids before a major band competition hosted at the school. We were warned by staff at the school that they had been burned in the past by this Domino's for dropping the ball on a large order. The manager that took our order assured us they were under new management and that we would be taken care of. We get to the store at the requested time to pick up our pizzas and were met with THE rudest staff and manager, as if it was somehow OUR fault the pizzas hadn't even been started yet. We were given the lamest excuse that they opened an hour late (not our fault), that they only had 1 person to make pizzas (I was literally looking at 4 people as the manager said this), and that we were more than welcome to jump back there and help them make the pizzas (because we're paid employees? that also paid for their product?). When asked how long it would take to complete our order as we were on a very tight window to feed 100 people, we were met with an "I can't answer that" and another "you are welcome to come back here and help". When asked why we weren't called immediately this morning when the opening of the store was an apparent issue so that we could be prepared for a delay, we were met with silence. I called both the local Little Caesar's (the ones on Big Bend Rd and US301) while standing in Domino's lobby to ask how quickly each of them could make 15 pizzas. I was told to head to their locations immediately, and we would be out the door within 15 minutes. We voided our order with Domino's, headed to the Little Caesar's (one of which had only 1 employee working, and the other 2 employees) and were back at the school to feed some very grateful kids with only a 30 minute delay. I get it, it's a pizza place, maybe we shouldn't expect a modicum of professionalism, but wow. The staff was uncooperative, the manager was horrendous, and all of this could've been avoided had they shown the tiniest amount of professionalism and made a simple phone call to prepare us for their known delay. We could've attempted to shift around an already hectic day, or ordered from a place that could help us. Kudos to Little Caesar's for...
Read morePizza took nearly 2-hours to be delivered two months ago. Didn't order again until about two weeks ago. It was 90-minutes when I called and was told they are short of delivery drivers but I could come and pick it up. I cancelled the order. Decided to give them one more try since they are the only Dominos in the area. It was already 30-minutes into "Quality Check" when I called. The guy kept talking over me as I was trying to give him the address. Hung up on me 3X when I called back. Finally, another person answered and I cancelled the order. Never order from these guys unless you have 2+ hours to wait for a cold pizza and terrible customer service. Jan 8, 2022 Like an idiot, I decided to give this place another try tonight. A pizza was actually delivered, which was a surprising delight. Unfortunately it was the wrong pizza and one I cannot eat. I called the store and after 5-minutes on hold (no worries) I talked to the manager and said "I have always had bad experiences with this store. Not sure how long you have been the manager but no one there seems to care at all about being professional." She cut me off and said in an angry tone, "I've been the manger for two days, so don't say I don't care!" Absolutely no attempt to give good customer service. I hate the place! Official, NEVER AGAIN! 9 Apr2024 Never say never again! This place has done an amazing turnaround. I've had their pizza three times in the last six weeks and every time, it's delivered quickly
Read moreThe staff at this location seems to just not care about providing quality food or service. They got my order wrong even though it was an online order with clear details of what I wanted. After arriving to pick up the food later than expected time of pickup it still was not ready. Once I got the order and arrived home we noticed that the order was wrong and notified the location of the issue. They placed us on hold for 5 minutes and then got back on the phone stating that they may be able to correct the order only if I returned the incorrect order uneaten...Are you seriously reprimanding me for your screw up? No apology it empathy for the issue..to compound matters worse is that the staff member stated that they will make the determination to remake the order only once I return to the store with the incorrect order...so fast forward 30 minutes later I arrive at the store and the staff members are all at the front counter congregating and refuse to acknowledge that I've returned with the incorrect order. Once I address them of the issue ..they take the pie and not even look at it..put it on the shelf and take another pie and hand it to me..of course I opened it to check it out and it was less than subpar. I requested another pie be made fresh and they refused and just looked at each other and laughed...I left the store and notified the store management via corporate and online sources. No contact from either has been received in over a week. Needless to say..they have lost my business going forward. Stay away from the Riverview, Florida store on Boyette road unless you like this type of customer service and...
