Okay my first experience ordering food here was going pleasant until the lady for some reason had an attitude because her coworker who originally was taking our order, did not hear my name so he wrote down a different name for the order. When my order was finished she called that “wrong” name for a good minute and then pointed at us like “HEY YOU, WHAT IS YOUR NAME?!” Because we were just sitting there not knowing they were calling us. I told her my name then she was like then why is it different on the receipt? Almost as if she expected an explanation from me...? We literally got in the car and my best friend who got the other order of food also felt like she was a bit unfriendly. For no reason whatsoever. I’d say food was great except the arroz con gandules tasted bland— I had to get home and add salt onto it. For $14 I don’t get much. Either. This place is legit! Run by a wonderful, hard working family from Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 the food is ON POINT! Skip the mofungo (although it's still good) and try the "Trifungo" it has platano, maduro, and yucca. It's sweet and savory, and oh so good when it's hot and fresh! With hot sauce on the side, boiiiiiiii. The arroz con gandules, and pork chunks is BOMB 💣 but almost everything on their menu is amazing. The alcapuria is really authentic and served in the correct way: in a greasy paper bag with napkins, lol. The best! As much as I would like to give a better review since I really appreciate having food from my island, I must say that I'm very disappointed at my first and possibly only visit. After waiting for a long time for 2 rellenos De papa and 2 alcapurrias I was charge $14 (that's $2.50 more for 1 relleno, than another food truck in town ) and they were extremely greased and salty .
